A pretty surreal dawn greets those in the Kingdom of Yid then.

Graham Roberts is the new manager of Pakistan. What a journey. From Clyde to Karachi. At 51 and after many years in the wilderness it’s a hopefully a nice pension. The last time I saw him it was signing autographs off a trellis table on the High Road with born again cabbie, Mickey Hazard.

When I got to The Lane, a parade of Legends were being applauded by over 30,000 presumably after they had enjoyed a three course meal and some half decent VIP attention.

The Great Dame Comolli has turned up like some bad French centime. Quite how he has the front to pop up now essentially taking credit for where the club is now, some time after he was fired is beyond me. He was instrumental in spending a hell of a lot of money and it’s a pretty dishonest exercise.

AC Milan’s Daniele Bonera would cost iro £5M. He’s 29 and would be a welcome addition to the sick, the weak and the weary we currently stock.

Harry we do not seem to have profile pages, we will not be able to pm each other with streams and alike. Is there any way around this or are we stuck with it?

Peeps slagging off the Prince know nothing of football. Unless you lived in a cave during the World Cup, you’ll have noticed he was one of the most consistent performers (for Ghana). His repertoire is superb, the complete box-to-boxer, little wonder Milan snapped him up (via a Genoa proxy). Has a great pass range (not as good as Hudd but not far off), great tekkers, can shoot long or short and can tackle the hardest nut. Now tell me he’s crap…

Yes he brought some great players but he was brought in to unearth gems, not to spend millions. When you look at the money we spent, any Technical Director could’ve done the same.

The only player who was brought in that we had never heard of was Assou-Ekotto, and that was because he came from France. He had developed a name for himself already in Lique 1.

Yes, give him credit for the buys, because he did sell the club to them and their agents but that is the extent of it.

In his time HE DID NOT unearth a world beater. We had players that made a step up from one league/team to another.

  • Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks has fuelled fan anger against his regime by describing protests against his presence at the club as “noise we are dealing with”.
