Quite a kerfuffle, then.

The first half was certainly more watchable than the second. But the whole gig was undermined by a referee that I predict if you  call him in a years time you’ll hear, ‘Hi Dominoes, Marc speaking…’ on the other end of the phone.

Ratings then…

Gomes 6 Little to do

A&E 8 As good as it gets. Nice work, fella.

Begbie 6 Attacking, but his passing was ‘iffy’.

Gallas 5 Couple of decent moves, but looks a bit pants.

Kaboul 8 Defensively – extremely good stuff.

Azza Blud 7 Played very deep and his tracking back was often immense.

Sarge 5 Largely the victim of a rather retarded Ref.

Modders 8 Not a luxury player, Smith you tool…

Bale 8 Wot No Hattrick? Bale Out!

VdV 8 Class act.

Crouch 5 Achieved little. A poor Ref, but he failed to move on from that fact.

Sandro 6 …but should almost certainly command 7’s and 8’s in future.

Pav 4 Not a dig. I love the chap, but he produced schnichts.

Will someone please tell Arry that Crouch is an impact player who sometimes scores goals but mostly wastes chances whereas Pav is a STRIKER. Unless Arry starts to understand this fairly pronto we will continue to drop points.

    Roman Pavlyuchenko
176 goals in 357 club games a goal every 2.02 games
    Peter Crouch
132 goals in 406 club games a goal every 3.07 games

Not the best day for Crouch but dont forget he set up the goal! VdV said he loves playing with him and you all rate him, are you saying he doesnt know what he is talking about?

Pav somehow seems to score goals but has the touch of a rapist. Cheering his name when Crouch is on the pitch is not cool, get behind the team!

Crouch had an assist today .. Two assists last game..

    • emspurs says:

think how many other assists others could have had if we didn’t squander two out of every three possessions lumping it to that largely incompetent tall fellow harry insists on calling a striker.

it’s only a run-on sentence if you don’t read it fast enough.

seriously you guys turn on players soo quick
Crouch is a fan fav and yer he wasnt the best today but he caused them alot of trouble also he is bit out of form but this is crouch he will come through
so stop being arseholes about your own team players

    repost reply to odm

decent striker would have had at least 2 today but no use moaning he’s part of the furniture now and unless we get rid of ‘arry we ain’t getting rid of the LSOP.

He has his uses in away games as proved at blackburn & citeh last season, unless his bird gets really homesick after her lanky baby is born we’re friggin lumbered with the freak.

I think pav needs a run in the side to come good again for us as does wilson. People have short memories and wilson was the key part of the redknapp revolution after the two from eight drama. He’s a class act who needs our support.

message to all – take a quick look at the table – we’re 3rd FFS

Such is life in the goldfishbowl. Just ask JJ

he’s started to look like the penny’s dropped lately our J***s, we’ll be quite surprised if he’s a late developer and turns into a roy keane type player ;-)

what about that chancer Rooney? talk about holding gun to club’s head and cocking the trigger.

I’d sell the pikey in the January window if I was red nose and buy torres
