Crouch 5 Achieved little. A poor Ref, but he failed to move on from that fact.

Pav 4 Not a dig. I love the chap, but he produced schnichts.
We will not get a first grade striker!
Any in form, top line striker is not going to be for sale and even if they force or manufacture a sale like Rooney might have or Ronaldo did, the price and wages would be limited to a few takers only and we would not be amongst them!
Our best bet is the second or third line striker who is not getting a game at the likes of a top continental side, but there may be reasons they are not the first choice.
As for Crouch, he is unbenchable at the moment as Defoe is out PSB has pissed too many people off and Pav is too much of a lightweight to take on the responsibility. That is why we need a good forward and where we I suspect we have fallen down (Fabiano, Huntelaar etc.)……we won’t meet the wage demands. Are they unrealistic or simply market rate.
Crouch equals falls over easley,bullied off the ball very easley,no pace,no movement,can not kick a ball properly,[remember birmingham away as well as today ]no closing down,and you neaver know where the balls going when he heads it 1 prem goal in 15 games or more made 2 asssists against villa anything else chaps!!

I don’t disagree spur150, but Pav has shown no inclination nor the slightest potential to be a No.9 anchorman. The choice is between Crouch and PSB and clearly there is unrest in the house of Keane as he’s not being given much responsibility by Harry.
My view is that Crouch will continue to start as long as Defoe in unavailable,especially since there is at least a case, that he is creating space and chances for DVD.
I must say I’d like to see ‘arry freshen things up a bit and certainly give Niko a start and I think for the right game PSB would still do a job as a lone forward and might just get a couple….
