looks like Jimmy Krankie is sadly knitting a rope out of old bedsheets to slide out of the window of the East stand in the New Year – Shame, but if we get the £6m touted for him then it’s a good deal.
Realistically, I think PSB & Gently Bentley will be the only others on the out but only if HR (or Levy) muster reserves as cover.
I do think there’s genuinely an attempt going on to prise Carroll away from the barcodes but that might need to wait until the summer.
Deeefence is the place I think we’re looking hardest and Cahill seems most likely just now.
