Can You Identify These Spurs Players?

Good morning species.

You know the drill. I muck about with some pictures, you make wild guesses that are funnier than the images themselves, I threaten a prize and and after three to four months a copy of something that you didn’t ask for arrives at your old address.

A mystery prize for the private investigator that can determine who these people are then. Click on the image below to reveal the snaps! Answers as usual to the boyhotspur@harry-hotspur.com

So anyone think we’ll start with JD tomo night? Hope so, sooner he’s back in the groove and all that..

Just heard VDV has missed training today, and that Werd have a lot injuries, sounds good. Hope Raf makes it, guess Sundays the more important match now!

Be nice to qualify tomo tho eh?!

Think a 442 with Defoe/Crouch starting is a real poss.
So long as we do midfield right with Modric/Jenas/Bale +1 then we should be able to cope. The +1 being Rafa or Azza or Niko or even Brylcream boy.
Not that we don’t need a DM – just that neither Sandro or Wilson are ready for a first team start at present and both played like donkeys at Bolton.

Still getting over Saturday and after 43 years a Spurs fan can safely say that the past few days have been pretty good to say the least.

For the Bremen game pretty much the same team that finished the match at the Emptycrates would be nice but then again Harry might shake things up given that Sunday is so important too. The news is that Bale and VdV are doubtful which suggests that Harry is looking to rest at least one of them for Liverpool.

If all are fit I would go with…

        Gomes

        Hutton Kabooooom Gallas AnE

        VdV JJ Modfather WonderBoy

        JD Crouch

If Vdv and or Bale not fit then Krankie in for Bale and Lennon in for VdV.

Whatever team Harry picks it would be great to just get the win and the group stages out of the way. Bremen have numerous problems at present and are conceeding lots of goals but we must watch out for Marin who ran us ragged in the first game. Expecting lots of goals, hopefully JD can start making up for lost time.

Troubled Werder Bremen on Tuesday arrived for a Champions League match
at Tottenham Hotspur with just 12 regular squad players as coach Thomas Schaaf had to fill the ranks with six third-division amateurs and a junior.

Captain Torsten Frings and striker star Claudio Pizarro lead a list of 10 players who are missing the game due to suspension or injury.

Instead, Felix Kroos, the brother of Bayern Munich’s Germany midfielder Toni Kroos, and Dominik Schmidt are set to be in the starting 11 at White Heart Lane on Wednesday. Neither of them has played in the Bundesliga, let alone in Europe.

‘It is a difficult task, given our personnel. But it is quite attractive that no one expects a lot from us,’ said Schaaf.

Cue Harry press conference in which he will say that they are still a ‘quality side with top, top players’ and that we will not be underestimating them.

We will of course then underestimate them, go a goal down, then 3-1 up either side of the break only to concede a ‘sloppy second’ before the end, leaving us a nervy final 10 minutes… Stop me if you’ve heard this one before!

Ahhh, the Tottinghams. God loves a trier. I think we’ll make it through all said.

Don’t you have to play CL registered players? Were 3rd division players registered for WB?

Where did this info come from?

  • Kojac says:

bremen are down in 12th in the bundesliga, must be because of all these injuries i guess,

if we can get the win 10pts is usually enough to get to the knock out stage, that would be great if we do it 2moro night
