Guten morgan happy clappen.

The feel good factor continues a pace then. The game was exactly what it ought to have been what with us being at home, on a roll and better at playing football than them all factoring in to a decent win.

In no particular order I was actually sad to see Jenas go off. He has drastically improved of late and this was a game that would have probably suited him in terms of the shape Werder played etc…

Is one of your goats missing? The odds are that 3MP has it. He’s got mine. I’m finding this ‘pop it onto the big fella’s bonce’ routine increasingly irritating. It’s not a strategy, it’s a lottery. Passing to Pete turns possession into a 50/50 ball.

Kaboul is looking damn good. Insightful comment perhaps after 2 goals in 2 games, but while his goals are more than welcome but foremost I need him to do his job at the back well and he has been. Let’s hope his consistency continues…

ZE RATINGS

Gomes Rumoured to have watched the 2nd half in the Bill Nick

Begbie 5.73 He can run, jury still out on everything else

Raging Kaboul 7.1 Great shift

Billy Bob 7.09 Looking every bit like a captain. Blimey

A&E 4 Erratic would give a bad name to erratic things

Azza 6.79Certainly improving, flashes of what he can deliver

Jenarse Gout

Modders 8Took him a good while to bloom

Bale, Bale, Bale 7 Good game, pants penalty

Roman – 5 Forgettable

3MP – 7 Are all his faults in his detractor’s minds. Including me?

Krankie – 6 Great to see him back, looked keen as you like

Defoe – 6 Greedy? Not if he’d scored. He didn’t. Greedy

Arry – Good luck in front of the Beak today

Get off BAE’s back (and let me on) he is one of the best LB’s in the prem. We will need to be at very best on Sat and forget about the CL last 16 for now. We need to beat Poo to keep our dander up. Hope to see you boys in the Paxton on Sunday. I have re newed my Spurs shirt it is now on eof the new blue ones with long sleeves but still with 69 Horny Helen on the back. Carry your bag Sir?

Gomes – 6, Nothing to do but still managed to look shaky at times.

Begbie – 7.5, got caught by the overlapper a couple of times but awesome going forward.

Raging Kaboul – 8, Lost concentration once giving the ball away in a bad area, apart from that, dominant, made Wagner locate himself on Gallas for every high ball.

Billy Bob – 8, Wagner tried to bully him as he was the smaller of the 2 centre backs, didnt work. Solid game

A&E – 5, Decent when he keeps it simple, didnt keep it simple.

Azza – 6.5, In and out of the game, but the 2 crosses were perfect (head up or not Souness)

Jenarse – 6, Good early runs through the midfield, shame he tweaked a muscle.

Modders – 7, Got better as the game went on, gave the ball away cheaply a few times.

Bale – 8, Full of running, great crossing, standard Spurs Penalty.

Roman – 4, should have stuck the first chance away, second chance was unlucky. Didnt do anything else.

3MP – 7, Some nice touches out wide, not quite enough in the final 3rd

Krankie – 4, Five passes and one free kick, all ended up in the oppo’s possession. Last years signing of the season is struggling!

Defoe – 7, Good movement, nice lay off for Bale’s chance, the only player on the pitch willing to shoot from outside the box.

  • Begbie being able to run quick and in a straight line was what made him special in the SPL.

8’s all round except for the usually excellent Benny who had some wayward passes and the Russian who again looked like he couldn’t be asked even with Defoe on the bench.

    We’ll drink a drink a drink
To Billy the yid the yid the yid
He plays for Spurs, He hates the Arsenal

Erm… Lennon set up 2 goals with great individual skill, or did you not notice? Also Begbie set up the other goal…I guess you didn’t notice that either… All our goals came from the right side, yet Bale gets all the plaudits despite missing a penalty….
