‘Sold As Seen, Mate’ – Arry Redschnapps

PSB is officially on the forecourt. In between the Vauxhall Verruca and the Datsun Dilemma.

Arry has announced that a loan is out and they are simply waiting for the best offer to come. Mooted names are the Vancouver Hubcaps, Aston Villa and Colchester United.

The highest bid? That’s cold. Colder than a Cumbrian pensioner. But if this doesn’t reflect how low Keane’s stock has fallen, how distant his glorious era in the Lilywhite shirt now is, nothing else will.

So, Birmingham Away then.

Birmingham have dished up some unedifying stuff this season and the Tottingham of old would have been sorely tempted to wander up to St Andrews, play head tennis for a bit and come home clutching either a point or a letter from their mum explaining it was ‘a bit cold’ or Birmingham are ‘a tough side to break down’.

So let’s hope that we are the ones that are tough to break down and we get into them from the off playing something as close as we can muster to push and run.

Oh and if there’s a penalty, Modders takes it.

last season after 16 games we had scored 35 and conceded 22
this season after 16 games we have scored 24 and conceded 21

So as it goes the defence is doing very well especially as they are injury ravaged and we play a very attacking line up.

I hate to admit it but none of our forwards could have scored the goals like n#^*i did today. but vdv could.

We are still handily (if that’s a word) placed though a win today would have made it more so. It’s easy to say that we should have bought this and that striker but you can only get what is available. I’m sure Levy an’ all would have had a good look in the summer but who is available? There is a lot of talk about so and so but they are usually foreign and therefore not played over here. It’s not like we are going to David Villa now is it. As for the ex gooner..yes please.

Completely agree, both Danny and Harry know the score and the problem is any potential seller knows it too. It has been obvious for ages that we need a top quality finisher but it is so difficult to get the right one(s)and offload all the existing wrong ones. The market is so very tight but I really do believe we will get at least one bit of good news striker wise in Jan. As well as a top striker I also reckon Harry and Danny are lining up Pienaar from Everton to cover both Lennon and Bale as he has very good pace and works hard too on either wing, also have a hunch about Lassana Diarra from Madrid to walk straight into centre midfield alongside Modders. Crickey imagine a midfield of Lennon Diarra Modders Bale with JD and VdV or Adebayor upfront, that is a very serious line up indeed. Keep Crouch or Pav as Plan B and still have Thud, Pienaar, Sandro and JJ as back up midfielders. That suggests to me that Bentley, Krankie, O`Hara, Gio,PSB, possibly Wilson could all be goners. They are or were in the case of PSB,all decent players but basically are not at the level we have now moved to and should aspire to get to next. We shall see but we are very very close to being a major threat. COYS
