Crouch Out

Mornin’.

Well it could be worse. you could have woken up to discover you were Roy Hodgson.

Last night’s footy was quite mad across the board. Chelsea lost another wheel last night losing to Wolves. The French found Joe Hart in too finer form in a game that mirrored our own season opening tussle in many respects. The double sending off was spot on, but to be frank I would have shown Song a straight red just for looking like an Ipswich pimp.

Everton just looked more like a team that played football on the floor and it makes me cringe when we hit the ball over Modder’s head and turn possession into a 50/50 ball. Crouch out.

I acknowledge that the knockdown balls to VdV work, but at what ratio? One in 27 resulting in a goal? I don’t like it and I’d like us to stop doing it. It’s quite unseemly all this hoofing and hoping. What is this an open audition for an Old Time Dancing show or one of the world’s most stylish sides trying to play football?

Here’s a clip of a side winning.

Harry luvs Crouchinio so he wont be going. I cant honestly see us buying anyone exciting this window, Harry wants Carroll and he aint available (unlike me boys). We wont get Any of the big names we have been linked with. We will end up with another striker on loan deal. So dont expect to see very much new clientel out ther after the window. We do need to change the way we play because our points of mostly been won by individual brilliance not good solid team performances. In the games against Everton, Fulham, Toon, we have looked clueles at times in midfield and attack. We must stop sloppy passing, loosing possession, hitting long, leaving Bale and Lennon out wideinsted of encouraging them to get involved in the game in the central area much more. Get rid of JJ and lets get to see Sandro for a few games. So lets see more of a solid display through out the team please Harry, a bit of cohesion is needed. Meanwhile back in bedroom? HHXX

I want proof that you are horny Helen. I want a picture, of you in a state of semi-undress, with red high heels (shoes or boots) and black fish-net stockings. For I believe that you are a big hairy 6ft 6in Yorkshire man with a big bushy beard. So prove it?

If you are a big Yorkshire man, I still want the picture……er fish-nets etc….ehum.

I’ll take some horny helen right now!

    She’s a striker…

  • Crouch sucks says:

Crouch is the worst striker ever! And his football style is so…Div1. His tame shots are an embarrassment to all English men.

BTW which other team has 4 strikers who have scored 3 goals collectively since the start of the season.

Even a combination of Rasiak and Doherty could do better than this lot. The worst we’ve ever had as a group.

Same old rubbish from yet another motd fan. We have no alternative to crouch without Defoe. Someone a few posts up said pav has played average at best, average for him maybe but nowhere need premier league standard. Pav offers nothing. In the first 45 against Newcastle (a game we dominated!) Pav had 6 touches, one of which was to block a goalbound shot by modders. I fail to understand the blind faith some many of my fellow yids have in “what offside rule?” Pav.

I agree we play too much longball with Crouch in the team but that has to be a criticism of ‘Arry for the instruction he’s giving, you can’t blame crouchy for it, he’s not the one playing the passes.

While I’m on a rant, what is with all thE people suggesting wholesale changes? We’re enjoying our most successful period in 20 years. We need to tweak a bit but we don’t need to change much at all. I think we chop keane and pav for another quality striker (if we can get one) and let bentley go, Becks for now then piennar for free in the summer.

Have you ever watched Defoe? Why are you talking about “What offside rule” Pav?

IDK how old you are but if you’re old enough to have watched the 1981 FA Cup Final you should be old enough to know that Crouch does not belong in our club. Even David Pleat knew that 10 years ago.

The sooner that LSOP goes, the better.

    • Anthony In That Number says:

Agree with all of that Lee. Without Defoe we have nobody who can stretch defenders. Crouch is always going to be the pick for away games if we go 451. Also agree that Pav just does not seem to offer enough in his all round game. Still think Crouch and Pav will stay until the summer but if we can get PSB away to Brum, Bentley to say Newcastle and get one new forward in, even on loan till end of season to liven things up we still have plenty to play for. Everton away is always a tough fixture especially after 3 games over Xmas etc. Must use the squad now against Charlton, Sandro surely must start. Having seen Krankie when Bale went off he badly needs games to get his form back. COYS we can still make this a terrific season.

Tttcchhh. Blody hell I’m in a bad mood. I invest much too much emotion into that tosh…
