Artful Arry’s slip highlighted it has to said by Matt Butler in the Belfast Telegraph is a corker. Here’s the quote in full. It may be entirely innocent of course.

If by this you mean having to suffer an initial day or two of him and – the ironing board with a pair of cupcakes strategically nailed onto it that is – his wife being photographed arriving at The Lane; photographed standing on the grass, photographed ‘joshing’ with Arry …then so what?
The reality is that this guy – love him or hate him – is so good for business it hurts. Overnight we become a global brand. Within days, some kid be he in Knaresborough or be he in Nepal will say to his dad, ‘I want a Spurs shirt with Beckham on.’

i think as spurs fans weve gotta look at all the facts ie stratford,transfers
daniel levy has done nothing but good since he took over,built and built and rebuilt this great club of ours,very sad if we do have to leave whl,sad if we have to bring in somebody like beckham to help promote the club,raise its profile worldwide,but reality is if we dont make all these moves now,in 5-10 yrs were goin to lag behind the “big teams”.ive never felt as good as i have the last few yrs,we all have had bad experiences in life,deaths,break ups,but we have come thru them even when we had a shit team,im lookin forward to life now,i want to live to see all of bales career,and the next bale after that.
so if these are the sacrifices that daniel thinks will help grow the club continually,i say why not,in another 100yrs we might need to move to another stadium,and if it means tottenham hotspur,with its great past will survive,then so be it,lets all look to the future
there is 1 more fact ive noticed while reading these forums,everybody is getting excited due to there being a 1 in the yr this season,it might have slipped peoples minds,but this whole decade is full of them “1s”.
