charlie and lennon look a better pairing on that side IMO, lennon’s game doesn’t suit an overlapping fullback as the world cup showed, he likes a fullback to stay behind him and feed balls behind for him to chase down.
This beckham deal could be a masterstoke albeit a short one, he’s a ‘been there done it got the t-shirt’ player with a cupboard full of medals. Our younger players need educating still and maybe staying after training practising set pieces with him will improve them no end.
In the alternative he may be a fergie spy sent in to tap players up and undermine our campaign :ninja:
