Pienaar Is A Yid!

So say the Grauniad.

So if it doesn’t come off we don’t have to lump him onto the already burdening pile of ‘done deals’ I called that never happened.

“Athletico Straford (t/a Enfield Prestige Motors Ltd [a sub division of THFC Inc])have agreed a deal in principle with Steven Pienaar, having beaten off competition from Internazionale and Atlético Madrid with a contract worth £70,000 a week over four years.

It is unclear, however, whether the north London club will pay around £2m to Everton this month to push the transfer through or wait until the summer when the South African midfielder would be available as a Bosman free agent.”

So the summer it is then.

Anyway.

What say you? The possibility of Pienaar in a Spurs shirt doesn’t really get me going. If we could realistically nick anyone I’d have Neville. Or if it didn’t have to be an Evertonian, Lionel Messi.

It will be a laff riot when the Scousers start getting on the players. Poor results can’t be Kenny’s fault because it was the Kop’s wisdom (and the owners’ appeasement) that got him the job. It can’t be the owners because they ousted the previous regime (and sucked up to the fans by appointing Kenny). That leaves the huge ego, big money players. I would love to hear Gerrard or Torres get booed. And it’s coming.

In other laughable news the Spammers are picking up Wayne Bridge’s entire 90k a week in his loan deal. If Keane goes to them, we definitely need to hold them up on the price. They are desperate, so they’ll pay.

Day 13 – no sign of a striker, but don’t fret, Redknapp has Wes Brown in his sights.

      I may put that on a t-shirt.

Then set fire to myself like one of those monks. This is going to be a last minute/Cat In The Hat job. Again.

Regarding Liverpool they will be under huge pressure and might get dragged in to a relegation scrap if they do not start picking up a few wins. The league table does not lie and the existing squad is clearly less than ordinary. As many have said for ages if you look beyond Gerrard, Torres, Carragher (remember he has been injured since the game against us) and Reina they have absolutely nothing else. The problem for them is that they have no money to buy ant quality. The new owners have been succesful with the Boston Red Sox but after an initial splurge of cash they have not been spending big at all….. This season the Red Sox failed to get anywhere near the play offs let alone win the World Series. Must say if I were a Liverpool fan I would be very worried indeed.
American owners WILL NOT SPEND BIG, they asset strip and look for profit before all else.Look at what they have had on the bench all last season and this. When you look at what has happened to them it makes me even more grateful for the efforts of H and DL. Oh and also we dodged the Joe Cole bullet (has he played more than 6 games for them?).

I don’t have much in my heart for Woy Hodgson, but King Kenny’s impact only serves so far to reveal that they may well be fecked.
