Guten Tag.

Later today I thought we’d really get in amongst it and discuss team tactics not just on the pitch but from the boardroom down. And our wage bills and specifically that wage cap business and try to reflect upon some particularly astute comments that you lot have been sharing over the last week.

But first, it’s a Bank Holiday morning and there really is no need for such argy bargy so early. So as it feels like a Sunday, here’s my online Sunday Supplement .

It come courtesy of a young man by the name of Matthew Craig Greene who I bumped into on Twitter, his fantastic ‘scribbles’ as he calls them were actually recommended to me by The Spurs Show.

By day, Matthew helps asset management companies -and, particularly, alternative asset managers – better understand their markets, their customers and their competitors.

[Yes that was the plug – it wasn’t very subliminal, but we are working on them]

And while nobody’s looking he sketches pictures of important Spurs moments on his iPad. Matthew lives in Essex with his wife and 2 young kids.

For maximum enjoyment, open another window and launch this bad boy CLICKY GOODNESS it’s Left Bank Two by The Noveltones – perhaps better known as – the music to Tony Hart’s, ‘The Gallery’.

To launch Matthew’s gallery, just click on the image of old Tone below and enjoy this lovely start to your day…

    HH – Can’t wait – wanna play now. ^^

    So…….

Harry out – (he’s going anyway)….take bondy & Joe. Definitely take those two fools Sir Les and Sherwood. (Sherwood does not seem to have have any impact on playing with bite and as for Les’ impact on our goalscorers !?!?!).

Keep – Inglethorpe and Clive Allen.

and my management team of the week (this week ;-) ) is……..

    Glenn Hoddle and Ray Wilkins.

No Jose please – I don’t want a great 3 seasons and then watch him wander off leaving us broke.

I keep saying this…..I want a dynasty. A burkinshaw or even dare I say it….a nicholson style dynasty.

I don’t care who owns us – Levy is fine. But we need someone who can get the best out of the players we’ve got. And we must (MUST) retain the spurs way of playing. Flair.

My hope for the future is less devastating.

I think we should buy 4 strikers:
      Drogba, Berba, Davies, Odemwingie

and buy a bigger trophy cabinet.

Because if we stick with what we have and just add some teeth laden strikers to replace our toothless ones then I think we can finish above the goons next season and win some silverware too.

      Glenn Hoddle?

Do you mean the same person who wouldn’t take over the team until after we played a semi against Arsenal in case we lost and it appeared on his record. Or perhaps you mean the Glenn Hoddle whose stated ambition when he took over was “Top 6 in three seasons”, which though not the most monumental of tasks, he failed to achieve.

Is HR really that dire, that we would replace him with GH.

Regarding Jose, he recently said that for his next job, he wants £20 mill a year and £100 mill transfer budget. We wouldn’t have to worry about him leaving in three years, because we would be bust after one.

see this ;-) do ya ? this ;-)

let me give you another clue……. ;-)

You see I don’t possess the insightful prowess of your like SOID.

The forums are jammed full of holier than thous who forget that most of us are just plain and (very) simple fans looking for a giggle.

You could learn a thing or two from jdfit, fatfish et al who seems to balance their information with humour so all of us can join in.

Next time I make a comment at least give me the good grace to apply a car jack to my jaw so you can leap in with both feet.

        ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

        and lastly with feeling………. ;-)

I assume that you are telling me that I misunderstood some joke you made? In that case I apologise.

The golden rule about jokes is that if you have to explain it, it probably wasn’t very funny in the first place. So in your own time Glenn Hoddle for Manager is funny because…..?

Regarding the inhabitants of the Internet, it is also full of people who are quick to indulge in personal abuse as well as self abuse.
