The Return Of Zokora!

You can’t keep a good man down.

That’s what she said.

It has emerged from sources in Italy that the old boy is very possibly set for a return to the Premiership. Unfortunately, or fortunately dependent upon how you care to call it, it is unlikely to be to Tottingham. It’s Steve Bruce’s Sunderland who are the suggested destination.

He was the frustrating player of all times. He had speed – but was fitted with a device that made him fall over the closer he got to the opposition’s penalty area. He had a hell of a shot in him –  but his shooting was nothing shy of bizarre. No matter how much time he had his shots were uniform. They all went into outer space.

Didier will be included in football’s Soccerthaurus™
Zokora n. (Zock-horror) Ivorian device for removing pigeons from stadium rooves.

He was certainly a cult (correct spelling) – however it’s a warmer more positive feeling to know that we now have cult heroes at WHL that can a) run with the ball without an expectation of them falling over, and b) can get shots on target. (n.b. neither category a) or b) includes squad nos. 9, 15, and 18 ) I see the marketing guys at Spurs have been a bit slow on the commercial opportunity front – Defoe ‘goals’ DVD could have been issued it at the start of the season without any noticable loss of content!

I can’t understand how people such as “UnkleKev” can say he’s the worst player in his lifetime.
He was a fair player, who loved playing for Spurs. Never one of our best, but there’s a reason so many Spurs fans love him and that’s his attitude. I’m not sure if you actually watch much football Kev.

I watch too much football than is probably good for me and I don’t give a stuff how much effort Zokora put into his game he was inept in every single department I can think of. Passing, shooting, heading, tackling — you name it, Zokora stank at all of them.

    Paolo Tremazzani

    Nicola Berti

    Moussa Saib

All three vie for the banner of Worst Spurs Player in my lifetime……

The astonishing thing was that they all played in the same side (forgive me if I’m wrong).

As for The Zok…… well he gave his all for the shirt and one thing you could never accuse him of was lacking effort and committment. Ok, he wasn’t any good at passing, shooting or tackling but he gave his all no matter what game or opponent, his chant and dance was brilliant aswell!!
