Mmmn. Maybe this is completely fabricated but it sounds too damn true to me … from Dan Nolan on Spurs Community…

‘Been in Vegas on a mates stag do this week and happened to meet Jermain Defoe, Tom Huddlestone and Ian Wright.

Talked in length with JD on the roulette table and he is actively looking to leave and even mentioned joining Arsenal. Says hes in his peak age wise and needs to be playing, said he never got fully fit because HR didn’t pick him even if he scored! No reserves meant he got no games to pick up sharpness after injury. Very annoyed about it too.

HR doesn’t want him to leave but wont guarantee him football. His agent was also with him and said hes investigating interest and we should find out in the next 2 weeks when hes back from holiday.

Spurs also looking to do business early as they are aware what happened in the last window annoyed the fans.

My sincerest apologies to Jermain Defoe apologists, but this delusional idiot’s goal tally speaks for itself.

The sooner Spurs dump fragile,  self absorbed cretins like this – the better.

    Hear! Hear!

Let’s cleanse the club of these type of losers. I’m pretty sure Defoe had plenty of playing time last season, although he was so anonymous when he did play, who really knows?

Defoe is a confidence player as shown by the amount of times we had to scrape him of the ground when he came back from England duty, give him a run and he’ll come good.If he went to Arsenal it could really come back to haunt us

    • TMWNN says:

Are you sure he didn’t get a good run of games?

He hasn’t learnt anything, yet he says he’s at his peak. Far too frequently offside, can’t head the ball, far too easily muscled off the ball, can’t take a player on, relies too heavily on pace which is fading with age, tries to shoot through defenders when a pass is the better option etc.

Why, he’s English, he wouldn’t get a game!

    If he weren’t English, he’d be Finished…

A close second, if not first instance of idiocy on TalkShite… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC2vprpDtY0&feature=related

    More anti-Defoe bollox.

Just a reminder, the only time he’s been picked throughout a season his goals got us in the Champions League. And delusional? Every time he scored in the League this season, he was dropped for the next game.

He should leave, and if he goes to Arsenal, you people will have plenty of time to reflect on your idiocy as he gets thirty goals minimum for them in the League.

Thank you,i thought i was on my own on this one

      • TMWNN says:

Defoe has never scored more than 18 in the the league since he became professional. The season before last he scored 8 over two games, yet still failed to hit more than 10 in the remaining games.

He’s not completely shit, but he’s a mid table player.

I think you’ll find that it was Pav’s goals at the end of that season that got us in the CL.

JD’s been rubbish this term though he’s not a bad striker. The problem is that he doesn’t really fit in with the way we play these days.

I’ll be amazed if he gets 30 goals for anyone as he’s never come near it before

Clive Allen scored 9 league goals the season before he got 33 49 in all comps. I believe that to be correct. Injury exuses not withstanding co JD has been out. Not compareing, just an exemple.

No websites then, But maybe some bollox spillin’ out like. That Clive Allen needs to move on…
