“Former U.S. international Brad Friedel is set to leave Villa Park to join Tottenham Hotspur, sources have confirmed to FOX Soccer.
The 40-year-old goalkeeper, having finished a three-year run at Aston Villa, will move to White Hart Lane on a free transfer, with an announcement from Spurs expected early Friday.”

Sad but true that Brad is an improvement on the flappy clown. But surely there must be a younger keeper out there who will be the future between the sticks. But the tightfisted Levy and dimwit Redknapp can only think short term. I agree with everything lee says – the sooner the slack jawed wheeler-dealer goes the better.
For me, a player’s age is irrelevant. He either improves our team or he doesn’t. I believe Friedel will make us a better team and I think Drogba would too. I couldn’t give a toss if they get stiff on long journeys :-)
