Due to technical fiasco or perhaps in a game of cards, the original blog was lost. So apologies for the deletion of your comments.

Those joining us late missed little other than a pretty damn sexy goal (yes another one from the seemingly reformed Giovanni Dos Santos

Not sure about him, he had some chances but not too many. But it doesn’t matter because he and Harry gave up on each other long ago.

so much talent out on loan, arry thought he was big and clever by only having 3 strikers, he sent 2 out on loan leaving us short , he then tells us season just gone was the best ever, then to rub salt into the wounds he tell us that any spurs who phones up a radio show and complains is an idiot, this he said on a radio show, then he tell us we want 2 big name signings, then i read today that arry is still looking to grab Beckham & levy will appeal the latest high court Olympic stadium hearing .. be worried boy’s be very worried..we won’t sign anyone of any substance both levy & arry know money but don’t seem to understand the Transfer Market…cole , forlan , parker…oap’s

Beckham is essential for the commercial revenue he generates and who knows his presence may attract further funding for a new stadium. Would you complain about him coming then?

Sell Lennon to Liverpool for £20m, play Dos Santos. You have to…please please keep Rose. Sell Hutton, play Walker. Sell Bassong-Penalty, Bentley, Jenas, Palacios; keep Hudd and Sandro – does anyone know why we bought Pienaar? Keep Kranjcar, VdV, sell Keane and Crouch – and buy two who know where the goal is. It goes without saying, sell the Octopus and keep Modric and Bale.

      but whos buying?
can you guarantee that the replacements will perform better?
will the new additions knit well into our system?
how is 20m good business for lennon when dos santos isn’t proven as a winger in a spurs shirt?
how would walkers defensive frailties be protected by dos santos like they would be by lennon?
how is selling gomes a good idea when we will be having a rotating back four again?

sorry for being negative but i have in my mind a quiet transfer window. For some decent reasons.

Playing Dos Santos as a winger (when he is not one) would likely be as successful as it proved to be by playing VdV there.

Harry has done both, of course.

Dos Santos would not be Lennon’s replacement.

  • 4 Ever Hopeful says:

Dos Santos has never been given a chance to prove if he is a “top, top” player. He got the same peg in the dressing room as Alfie Conn and Nico Claesen. When you look at some of the dross we have got or in the case of Pienaar are still buying, it really is pitiful.

I trust all you bastardos’ have participated :silly:
