Defoe’s Tweet Hint

Good afternoon chaps. As you were. We don’t stand on ceremony here.

So another day another dilemma. Nice cars Dilemmas. But I digress. Jermain Defoe on his day is lethal. Absolutely lethal. But so once was Cholera.

“Another day with new opportunities. God always has a plan. JD”
That was the Tweet from the Neopolitan Swordsman just one hour (ish) ago. But what does it actually mean? For the love of Amy Whineglass’s plastic mourners, if the players start talking in ITK cryptic drivel we are really scuppered.
So let’s have a chat discussing if Defoe is actully worth persevering with and at the same time a competition to second guess what his New Opportunities might be.

The funniest stab at what his plans or indeed those of a higher being might be wins …a fortnight for two in a Sheringham Beach Hut with my hottest follower on Twitter.
The sumptuous Ms Ophelia Balls, aka @_COYS_   yet another reader who could not resist getting HH all over their chest.

Im not some angered reader but do think on honest reflection that your blogs/articles are consistently rubbish.
you obviously are thick as S***
also the use of the whineglass play on words in relation to the late, great Amy Winehouse is cheap and tasteless.
it makes me feel ashamed that people as mindless and unimaginative as yourself are spurs fans.

    Cheers

Sell Defoe, he is MIA for over a year now, he will never score 10 goals again in his career and when he doesn’t score he adds NOTHING to our team. Sick of him doing nothing all game, and being offside, sell him now!

I’ll be gutted if Pav and him are our two strikers next season. Mid-table player.

Thought he looked really sharp at the beginning of last season before he got injured….been pwopa shite since though.

Still can’t make up my mind about Pav. On his day he’s mustard but other days he just makes me feel like self harming

    (1) Get rid of all the strikers.
    (2) Buy back Zokora.
    (3) Give the ball to Zokora deep who will run with the ball and fall over 25 yards from goal.
    (4) VDV takes the freekick. Sorted ;)

Ps. what’s with all this ‘first’ bollocks?

Spot on with the 1st business, mate. Never understood it either… :wassat:

It’s pretty simple. These people are pointing out that nobody has commented on the relevant article and that they are the first person to leave a reply. You’ve been at this for a while now H, I’m surprised you hadn’t put that one together, mate.

The implication that these have no life is purely subjective.

A few times now I’ve come upon a un-commented upon article on here. For someone who finds the “1st” gang fairly redundant, I must say the temptation to join in on the 1st’ing (obviously in some awesome new, intelligent, refined form) was nearly tangible.
