Good evening.

Fresh from the Reebok our Arry was on talkSPORT tonight and a few revelations emerged. Arry didn’t appear to know that Juan Mata was Chelsea bound. Not being cute, but some well placed sources called this a day or two ago.

Off the back of this, Arry immediately announced that to him this meant that any Modric to Second Hand Fridge deal was off.

When asked specifically about Modric, it was interesting that his stance had notably changed since last week. ‘Not for sale’ he said. It would appear that the Chairman has eventually got his message across in an entirely understandable fashion at long last.

Gone is the rubbish about the boy not being happy, gone is the wishy washy flim flam. ‘Not for sale.’ Well done Arry. Next time, perhaps you don’t need to be told twice, eh?

Last up is that the Adebayor deal that ITK’s have been calling done, is not. The wage issue drags on. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not crowing. I want him shipped in. Just saying that I sincerely hope that we are still trying to land other targets.

‘Arry also said that the plan was for Levy to sit down with Luka in the next couple of months and talk about an improved contract. So Chelski stick that where the sun don’t shine

    • SpurredoninDublin says:

Contracts mean nothing to Luka, he moved on one year into a ten year contrac, and wants to move on one year into his current contract.

What a new contract means is Luka will sign for another six years, get a wage rise, and then when the next good offer comes along, he will ask for a move again.

I am not lambasting him, merely pointing out that what we think a contract means, and what a a footballer thinks it means are two different concepts.

You miss the point- Levy intends to speak to him after August 31st. Geddit

I think you missed my point.

If Modric is on a 6 year deal and goes on strike we can bluntly refuse any offers, he will be 32 when his contract expires.

If he has refused to play against United then thats breach of contract, Fenerbache got 11 mill of Ortega for doing the same thing…………Let him rot and even when he comes back dont drop Krancjar for him….god I hope he shines against United tonight he deserves it

Harry is as wide open as our back four. He sounded positively dissapointed about the mata deal going through. He wants to sell Modric, the stuff he said about modric not being ‘fit’ head not right was very worrying.

He has no subtlety at all, he is determined to speak for the sake of it and anyone who can read between the lines can see what is going on. Imagine the kick-back Harry would get on 3-4 players coming in for Modric!

    • Edspur says:

One (Ratboy) out and four in doesn’t stack up. We just end up with even more deadwood to shift to squeeze into the Prem and UEFA 25 man suit. Harry wouldn’t care but Levy will never “wear” it ;-)

I was a bit concerned about Modrics head not being in the right place myself,I hope the little fucker gets a sick note.Still any ones head would be fucked up when your only on £40,000 a week,

      • LLL says:

Me same. If he is feigning injury whilst we open our season at Old Trafford and leaving us with Livermore and Krancjar in midfield he needs some booting up the arse. Mind you, probably hoping that a bit of a strop might help the deal go through. This can’t really go on past 2nd September though, so I guess his injury will clear up some time around exactly then

It’s getting hard to have any respect for the majority of footballers as people.looking at these tattooed, mohican clad wankers is making me doubt my sanity

        • hotspurhartley says:

I couldn’t agree more….out of our current squad there are maybe only 3 or 4 players who I have off field respect for…

^King, Dawson, Bale, Palacios, Huddlestone, Ekotto, Defoe, Kaboul, Krancjar and Corluka come to mind. Im curious.. who were you thinking of?

    • SpurredoninDublin says:

Am I the only person who every time HR contradicts himself, see’s images of Barry Fry? Spooky.

  • Edspur says:

Just listened to that. He has changed his tune a bit hasn’t he? HOWEVER, he also said he was chatting to Garry Cook at the City game and understood there some financial details unresolved. I hope he’s not acting as the roving negotiator for us. We could end up with a mangerial vacancy as well as a striker one!

  • NN says:

‘Bout fecking time. His moronic ramblings do us nothing but harm. But as long as he has the media onside for his trial, that’s all that matters. To him…..

  • Poff says:

    Now Adebayor’s is 50/50 and Benzima’s deal was 100%. #URfullofshit
