Can I shock you? I quite enjoyed that business last night. It was actually alright. What was evident was that someone had had a word with Arry about his dismissive Europa comments, his team selection, punters leaving in droves at previous games and the club’s responsibility to sponsors, specifically Investec.
So what we got wasn’t all that difficult to rustle up was it Mr Redschnapps? A half decent selection and so a half decent game. A few empty seats but I think those who were toying with attending and decided not to would probably now say they wish they had gone.
6. 853 Made a slight jiggins of the free kick and against opposition at this level that must be a concern. But otherwise looked like a Premiership goalie.
6.001 Harsh to say an unconvincing display? Probably not. Again, confident going forward but in our 18 yard box you can hear the cogs turning and they aren’t exactly whizzing around.

How much nicer to play these youngsters who are grateful for the chance than the likes of Begbie and Crouch. Liking this streamlined squad and wish Gio all the best in his most recent attempt at climbing back onto the wagon. If Defoe’s resurgence is genuine and consistent what say we bring in the 70-year-old fitness Guru to train the rest of the lads?

Loved Gio’s work rate and classy touches and movement. I was surprised to see him in the 25 man squad at the start of the season and thought to myself ‘they’re either putting him in so they can put him on show a couple of times and seel him in Jan or they have had a word and are now prepared to give him a shot at first team action.’
I hope it is the latter as he really seemed to go for it last night and looked like he is fighting for a place.

I enjoyed last night match.
Yesterday I called Pav, GDS and Gomes quitters because I have heard they want to leave due to new signings and not getting enough game time. Plus in the previous matches they weren’t showing much entusiasm whilst playing, except Gomes who seemed to suffer an attack of nerves during the Hearts game.
It was nice to see GDS step up and show us what he can do for Mexico, he can also do for us. And for Pav to get a goal which hopefully will build his confidence up. I hope Gomes can get his confidence back too as when he is on song, he’s the best we have got and better than most goalkeppers out there.
I still do believe that these three still have got what it takes to do well at Spurs and get us back in the Champions League.

it was good fun last night and the ropa sqaud are getting to play infront of some passionate loud fans like the greeks and irish,its a shame they couldn’t get past stoke as there would be more games fo them
