Wotcha.

Love him, hate him, do what you wish with him – as long as you’re both comfortable within your own …comfort boundaries – one thing is certain. The boy’s got class.

His judgement and his clarity of thought career wise might be on a par with Rose West, but he’s the real deal kicking a football.

Luka’s so good in an international shirt he’s almost rivaling Johnny Two Saints.
C’mon ‘Arry….let’s see some of this stuff from these guys when the shirt is lillywhite.
Where’s your man management skills this weather?

Enjoyed seeing Pav and PSB having a laugh at the end of the match in Moscow. You should have seen
Richard Dunne – major altogether. Shay Given wasn’t far behind – remind me again why we didn’t sign Given in the summer.

Harry is too stubborn to give players he doesnt fancy a chance.

Bale only got in the team due to injury, he was on the verge of being loaned/sold.

GDS goes to the world cup and is named young player of the tournament and cant even sit on our bench?

Everyone talks up how we have such an amazing squad, if thats the case, isnt Harry UNDERachieving?

You should stop believing everything you read in the interweb. Bond made it crystal clear in a radio interview that Bale was being prepared to take over from Benny when he was due to go off to the African Cup and that there was NEVER any question of him being sent out on loan. Just because some dick of a manager says he made an enquiry about a loan just means he made an enquiry and got a flea in his ear. As for Gio, he’s a drink-play hazard, if he’s finally knocked the boozing and partying on the head, then he’s worth a chance, but I don’t think he’s good enough, the spainish league and slow play most of the time suits him, but the tempo of the PL, and even the turkish one found him out.

As for Harry UNDERachieving, saved us from relegation battle, cup final, first full season we get into CL, and have the experience of a lifetime and then last year 5th after getting the worse injury record in the league. wake up stop being a sheep and realise what we were and what we are now that doesn’t happen by accident.

Always nice to see a little truth and logic amongst the speculation, spite and invention.

Finally — a voice of sanity among the incessant ‘Arry bashing. Bale was never about to be sold to Nottm Forest or any other club for that matter. Everyone at the club knew what a talent he was, the trick was trying to get that talent to prosper — which it is now doing quite spectacularly. But it’s easier to point the finger of blame than actually throw some credit around.

Totally agree with you about J2S as well … but I’d love to be proved wrong, however.

:gaehn: Just being in place as manager of Tottenham Hotspur FC Arry is OVERachieving…sadly the team is most definitely UNDERachieving….

Get down to the doctors Hartley, it’s not normal to be peddling so much misery and negativity, there must be a pill for it. ;-)

        • Heath Spur says:

          What should we be acheiving?

One CC Final, 20th to 8th placed league position. Then 4th place, an FA Cup Semi (unlucky exit after Dawson’s slip). Then CL quarter final and a 5th placed finish.

All with relatively little money spent.

Mourinho, Hiddink or Fergie would struggle to improve on that without massive investment.

Ardiles, Francis, Gross, Graham, Santini, Jol, Ramos. Harry has done a better job than all of them.

Just got back from the Doc, spurious. He advised me to tell you, to drink a cup of ambition every day until reality bites…. :shifty:

      • Heath Spur says:

Great post. Harry has some annoying personality traits but you cannot deny what we’ve achieved since he’s been here.

  • pommie says:

Doesn’t harry just pick the team? They then go running around where they want with no real plan according to VDV, apart from the obvious kick it down line to bale. Barry Fry was also known for his motivation and that’s about it. I do like harry but sometimes I wonder. Our defence has more leaks than the titanic, and despite losing both games, for some reason I wasn’t so twitchy because gomes wasn’t in goals. Surely he’d have saved Aguero’s effort rather than limbo under it?
