Presumably because it would allow Abramovitch to continue to pick the team. It has to be said that the Chelsea defence and tictacs looked very poor against Arsenal. They tried to push both full backs on to give them the width that they always look short of but in doing that it left the two centre halves exposed to the extreme pace of RVP , Walnut & Gervinho. Still it will hopefuly make Modders realise that we are on the up and the good ship Cheatski is on the way down. Lets face it if AVB does not deliver the Premier League or Champions League then Abramovitch will probably get rid of him as well.
