Gout Inspection In Next 24hrs

Good afternoon.

Our old enemy confronts us again. Our squad for the old Bar Codes on Sunday may be heavily depleted. Word is that Adebayor, Sandro, Van der Vaart, Charlie and Krankie are all subject to last minute inflammation inspections.

Add to this Les Dawson, Billy Gallas an Dances With Scones who have no return date plus Azza Blud who appears to permanently ‘a bit gouty’ and we are close to a ‘bare bones’ speech from talkSPORT’s number one correspondent.

A plethora of absentees. Which for word fans not only means ‘a lot’ but as an archaic medical term refers to a morbid condition due to an excess of red corpuscles in the blood.

Internationals should be used to give the ‘kids’ a run out to gain experience for meaningful football, thus protecting the first team players of clubs around the world.

Harry H. firstly i have told Harry too weaken his side for our four o’clock slot at Newcastle so we can serve up another 4-4 draw. I explained too Harry it would benefit him if he banged a bag full of money on that score and this would pay for his legal fees.Secondly don’t sell them cards we are appealing and we will win and you will be shut down.

  • Don’t ya wish your left back was Benny: “Assou-Ekotto did not travel to Wigan Athletic with the squad three weeks ago as he was suffering from illness but the manager Harry Redknapp called him the night before the game to ask how he was and wonder if he could yet feature. Assou-Ekotto took a taxi to Wigan at 7am and he played the 90 minutes in the 2-1 victory. There is the strong sense of attachment to the cause.”

Read the same article myself and consider it one of the best assessments of the situation Levy and ENIC face that I have come across in a long while. Perhaps wisely, there is no discussion of how specifically Levy/ENIC might deal with it.

May be because the answer is pretty obvious. (1) Get the stadium built – bring the negotiations to an end, set a clear (practical) target, three years maximum, and go for it. (2) Have ENIC invest in player salaries now (some of which investment will be repaid by CL earnings before the stadium is on line). Not excessive salaries as paid across the city or up north, but ones which send the right message not only to Modric but to the Assou-Ekottos. (3) Asa last resort, bring in a partner/may be future buyer now. There are enough candidates out there. The Bloomberg prospect once mentioned seems too far fetched, but there’s nothing wrong with the Yankee tie up. The Steinbrenner family is not known for milking franchises.

Never were so many let down by so few with finger ache.

What ever happened to the real men of football in those ‘halcyon days’ of the sixties and seventies?

Too much money and because of that too much insurance company interference.

Whatever happened to the likely lads, eh? There’s a poser for you?

    • eastanglianspur says:

Wasn’t aware that they played football. 8O

If they had, they would be tougher than the wimps of the modern game.

      • eastanglianspur says:

Perhaps it’s all the crap processed food they eat and they don’t heal like they used to.

Can’t say that I have, but ants like toe nail clippings – very nutritious apparently and there’s very little GM stuff in them. :-D
