Good lunch?

Mine was alright. And that’s me boasting about it. Meh.

On an upbeat note I’ve cold chicken legs (leave it) and chips for my banquet de le soir.

This might work this time. If it does not, unaccustomed to violence as I am someone’s gonna join me in becoming very accustomed very naffin’ soon. How difficult can it be?

Our 2 full backs are actually wingers.
We sent a team to lose and they duly obliged.
Bassong’s error for the free kick leading to the goal was shocking.
Hopefully Gallas is ok and ready for the first team. He can job share with Ledley.
Win at home to Salonika and away to Shamrock and we qualify.

I miss my make Gomes, heda got that free kick and he woulda got that ball v qpr before any of their players headed it.

With you there. I still think Gomes is our best keeper. He’s far better than the other two

I like you Mus but you do confuse me from time to time, how is it that you struggle with easy words like ‘mate’ but get the one that catches most numpty’s out ‘their’ correct? Or was it just pure luck this time?
And for the record Gomes is a great keeper but he is not the greatest keeper at our club, he comes third behind the other two….

Gomes is clearly not right in the head at the moment which is a real shame. I hope the club give him time to get right. I would rather have a fixed Gomes in goal to be honest. I would like to see us successful with him in the team. Although obviously I would accept success without him. His confidence could be so shot he may not make it back.

only because thats where arry has put him.

Writing Kane off at this point is utter madness. The boy has played a small hand full of 1st team games, some as sub ffs. He has scored hats full of goals for fun up to now. If he’s given as much chance as the hopelessly inept Pav, he could have a very good career. Carrol was a bright spot in the game, definitely benefiting from Modric’ influence. Tugboat Tommy should be looking over his shoulder for sure.

This is driving me carazy, how the F are you supposed to close pop ups when using your mobile? Every time I get near to the “X” the focker moves!! Reminds me of my x as it goes..

  • TMWNN says:

Playing two men up top was tactically idiotic. Especially when you take into consideration that neither can hold the ball up, and both are, to put it bluntly, a bit shit.

  • Anthony In That Number says:

Gallas was composed, reliable, calm, classy and in control. Sadly Bassong was, as usual the complete opposite. The January sales for him.
Carroll will be a very good player, he is very good on the ball, can see a pass and can actually deliver one. He needs time and games but he has great potential.
Cudicini was outstanding thank goodness but apart from him, Gallas and Carroll nobody else exactly covered themselves in glory.
Pav must be sold. For his sake and ours he needs shifting out in January for whatever price we can get. As a replacement Leandro Damaio please.
