Good Evening,

Silly season is upon us so the evening shift grinds grunts and spits out some transfer rumour flavoured gems for your delectation before rolling over to blissfully snore.

In keeping with the increased intensity of rumour mongering, lies, made up mayhem and general guff I think a nightly evening session may well be in order. I guess we’ll find our own way, eh?

Carlos Tevez according to Dragon1 is Arry’s ‘special player’. This is an ambitious one to put it mildly. It’s difficult to believe the Sheikh Mansour Mob will wear this one.

There’s no doubt that Adebayor has made a sizable impact at The Lane and despite City’s cracking season I can see little merit in them agreeing to let him play for any other Premiership outfit. And then there’s the wages. And his mental condition. And that whole made up I miss my family business. No, I think we can pop that one back in the old ‘ambitious’ file.

Kaka all set and primed to become this window’s Torres. Or indeed Rossi. Or who was that other chump we were endlessly linked with? Oh yes, Leandro Damiao. Opensaysme believes we want him on loan for the rest of the season.

What are the odds? Well the value of the player has slumped from £58M to gawd knows what due a similar nose dive in form. Will the once great man be nudged out of the Bernabeu? I think he will. Will he opt to join a tougher league with the world’s press watching every move? I think he will not.

Charlie we hear wants first team football in order that his profile is raised prior to the Euros. Ain’t life grand. Gone then are the days where footballers wanted first team action in order to demonstrate how well worth wearing the shirt they were.

Given Chas can’t make it past Kyle Walker the suggestion by Archibald that his agent has begun touting his client make sense. Roma has been suggested in every publication and periodical from the South China Morning Post to the Walford Gazette.
