I was lamenting the absence of fruit cakes in the modern game. Balotelli doesn’t count as violence serves only to take us into the arena of the unhappy and the unwell.

I don’t think the prosecution gets very far painting Harry as dishonest because he claims he lied to a reporter (who was taping Harry without his knowledge). The “were you lying now or then?” accusation carries weight when people say something to the police during an investigation, but change their story later, but there is obligation to tell a reporter the truth.

Unfortunately, they are all very similar characters whose forte is to discredit the opposing witnesses, even if they believe them to be telling the truth.
I’d rather have the inquisitorial system than the adverserial system than be smeared by some propagandist who is prepared to trash my integrity because the person whom he represents wants to win at all costs.
