Any Premier League manager must watch us and think if we are playing at WHL just play 5 across the midfield and thats a point in the bag at least. We are clueless at how to break these teams down.
Also if we get a free kick or corner I think we could just save energy, throw the ball to the keeper, tell him to hold onto it for 30 seconds and then start with a goal kick.
It would save us all having the pain and anguish of believeing something might happen only to watch the ball crash into the first defender, miss everyone and go off for a goal kick at the back post or fly 20yrds over the goal.
If a team’s supporters are worth a certain number of points every season depending on how positive they are about their team then, reading some off the comments on here, I’m amazed we’re not bottom of the Prem.
I’m just one of many who is not prepared to see sub standard performances from a team I have supported for 30 odd years. I also want rid of a manager who whores himself out to the press for the highest bid.
