I’m Told Arry To Quit At The End Of The Season

Good afternoon.

Some will view this piece with contempt based upon my continuous ‘daring’ to point out the ‘frailties’ of what one might refer to as, Arry’s management style. Some will sneer as it’s arguably less than a 50/50 call.

But I don’t blog this for any other reason than the quality of the source. The source is rather good. In fact, pretty much impeccable.

‘I’m not going to give you a quote it’ll identify me! But he won’t be managing the lads next season from what he’s told me and a few others.’

So there you go. Passed on in good faith, all that jazz.

Makes a lot of sense, he knows he’s better off getting out before he’s found out. Then at the same time (according to the LES)there’s Levy offering him a 4yr contract and a $50million transfer kitty that he knows HR will resist. Puts DL in the driving seat on negotiations with the FA.

    but I’d still facimoff now…chancer

  • TMWNN says:

I reckon he’s probably already been unofficially asked about and accepted the job.

Knowing Levy, he probably knows (he’s had someone go through the bins again) and has already got the new man lined up.

The mongrels in the press are wetting their knickers and stirring things up because they can’t wait to get the ‘Arry ‘n’ Ingerland gravy train properly on track and rolling on to its inevitable disaster.

    • Essexian76 says:

Yeah, ‘it looks like‘ he’s taken the job

    • Brian says:

Yeah..and the d***HEADS at Talk Sport..These people who want him to lead the country( Stop effing volunteering our manager) will be the same ones calling for his head when things dont go quite as planned. He’d be mad to walk away from Spurs for this job.I personally don’t care one bit about international fooitball. It kills time in the summer but detracts too much from the league and what counts to me as a Spurs fan

Please be true best news ive heard in ages get rid please and get a proven manager who knows how to win trophies. one from mourinho, benitez, klopp, van gaal, del bosque will do there’s loads of better managers than harry redknapp that can take us forward even modric in the summer said that harry was a good manager but chelsea had a great manager( ancelotti) we need to get rid of harry to progress in my opinion. TRIFFIC…..

    • zab says:

      • mrdaintz says:

He’s won La Liga Uefa Cup Champions League thats alot better cv than harry redknapp his valencia team was a joy to watch and if we had rafa in charge against the goons and manure i think we would have picked up points harry is to attacking were left with two defenders and parker defending that’s it walker goes ekotto goes forward we get picked off everytime against a good side look at the results away from home real madrid 4-0 man utd 3-0 arsenal 5-2 man city 3-2 we need to adapt our game away from home to stop this happening and harry wont change it you dont see fergie mancini playing two up top away from home in the big games and we get overun in midfield its hard to watch and he just sits there and does nothing.

      • Hartley says:

Agreed fully, not Benitez, no way, never, ever…..but I said that about Arry so it will probably happen…..

      • Hartley says:

I remember the very day, I was on Majorca having a lovely time, half way through a (very rare) weeks holiday and just happened to go back to my room for some cigarettes when I heard the news of his appointment……Spent the last 3 days very, very drunk and in denial……and no, denial wasn’t a Spanish waiter…

        • Phil McAvity says:

Yeah and he’s done a cack job for us compared to all of our previous managers in recent years.

        • Phil McAvity says:

Well if I was I wouldn’t be borrowing your records either, they’re more scratched than mine!!

        • Hartley says:

:gaehn: :gaehn: :gaehn: I’m so glad you’re not a DJ, Phil….

        • Phil McAvity says:

          Bloody time travel!!

        • jim says:

          Its in Egypt I think!

        • Phil McAvity says:

The funny thing is I can remember when the news broke that ‘Arry was our new manager, I was gutted!

However when I look back at where we were then to where we are now he has done a blinding job in my eyes.

He took us to the next level, now he is going to manage Enland (good luck to him) and I want whichever manager replaces him to carry on his work and take us to the next level again!

        • Hartley says:

Sorry Jim, a bit slow there….by the way do you know where Cairo is? :shifty:

        • jim says:

I like to call it anti-wit. A bit like anti -football. :daumen:

      • Hartley says:

        Were in agreement there Phil……

        • Essexian76 says:

Same here, apoplectic to be exact. I couldn’t believe nor understand how we could make such poor choice and I had visions of us, going skint and playing Leeds in a League two play-off and losing.
However you package it on the footballing front, the guys done a brilliant job in a relatively short space of time, and legally has been acquitted, therefore making him innocent of any wrong doings. What he’s like as a person, I couldn’t care less, but as a manager-our position in the league and our style of play is there for all to see-credit where credit’s due

      • Davspurswife says:

Why not Benitez he has won the champs league finished second in the prem won the FA Cup league cup egg cup good Cup of tea. Also his team was called the comeback Kings and the Duracell Bunnies they never tired. This is why i have sent all you lot mental with my energy rant and why Everton and our next 12 opponents would be hard to get points from. So one thing wont happen if we get the Spanish weighter we wont be mugged by Kolo Juice like we are now and when we defend we will have 10 defenders and ten attackers for 90plus mins. Harry is writing his leaving speech by picking a Goalkeeper who looks 41 players we cant afford Aby ex Arsenal medical mystery’s Saha ex Utd Everton we have just lost to both and play his next club Everton King who looks like he is playing on sand Van who looks like he his playing with is lovely wife. We need Gomes back without his gaffs even Cudicini a younger version of Friedegg Defoe one leg Lennon and the rest are playing for other clubs shame Kane Corluka Caulker Townsend Carrol Parret.Harry went after we beat Newcastle Stevenage 0-0 Arsenal 5-2 Utd 3-0 Stevenage just. We have also lost Harry King Friedel Aby Modric Bale mentally how many we lose for good depends on wether we finish inthe top four with this lot not fully focused losing Harry Sandra and Rosie is our least worry. Coys prove Davpsurs wrong Energy drugs are not stealing points from us. The Arsenal are playing a lot faster because they are training harder both Utd and City where saving there energy for the premiership H.H YOU wrong Harry has left three games ago .He will only return in my mind if we beat energised Everton who Saha still loves and he score the winner.

Hairy Hotspur: “I’d define ‘child’ as someone ‘incapable of understanding’ that I shared this because it came from someone held – I wouldn’t have to argue too much – was held in high regard.”

Your attempts to “be somebody” are admirable, I give you that. I’m happy that you’re able to get a little slice of self satisfaction, peddling poorly written drivel that clearly has no credibility.

Anyone can write attention seeking headlines, but more is expected these days.

Look forward to reading an insightful piece of analysis on THFC on your blog one day. Not holding my breath…

    • zab says:

Easy bro, what’s it matter anyway?

    • DessySpur says:

Roffllewhoever strange name but I like your patter mate, Hairy dont be so arrogant its not grown up in fact its rather childish!
I no longer care to be honest, the games against teh Arse and Man U my 8 year old woyld have selected a bettr team.
Fed up with all this now but no not Benitez. I also have more faith in levy now he4s learnt harsh lessons and I dont believe Moyes will be the answer, truth is I dont know myself but I dont get paid to choose the next Spurs boss so who cares??????????????

      • Brian says:

You’ll care once he’s gone, and we lose Modirc and few other key players.I hate your ki9nd of negativity.Spurs have had a wonderful season and HArry has done a brilliant job..Every team has a dip in form. Judge in May….and becareful what you wish for and all.

    • Harry Hotspur says:

So in summary, you’re upset that you clicked on my blog. And it’s my fault.

      On your way, love.

    • LosLorenzo says:

You just don’t get it, do you? And I’m talking about life, not blogging here now.

What do you mean, “attempts to be somebody”? HH has been putting this blog out for years (how many I don’t know, I’ve been reading for about 3-4 years), and I sort of get the impression that he actually cares about Spurs, and that his scoops are always passed on in good faith.

But you’ve been here for 5 whole minutes, so I guess you know what you’re talking about.

  • My Heart Is White says:

Don’t believe anything until you hear the person say it! Straight from the horses mouth. Other people telling other people and their friend said about their uncles wife who was there when he told that guy. What a load of crap. Until I see who it was who said this, I won’t believe it. BULL SHIT!
