Good morning.

Arry’s come out and defended the boy Bale, saying he’s no diver I see. Well Aitch I hate to be the first to break it to you old girl, but he is a bit of a diver.

I don’t believe  intrinsically that the lad’s a cheat, he strikes me as a decent sort. More a case of Gaz having become increasingly fed up with frustrated players who can’t catch him fair and square giving him the odd trip up, the odd push.

We keep getting these comparisons to Christiano Ronaldo being made about him, but it’s important that Bale ensures that he isn’t tarred with the same ‘cheat brush’ as the Portugeezer.

Here’s my mob for the Mancs then…

Given the inherent speed and potential for goals in this side there is no need for two strikers. This also leaves us with an attack minded bench if required.

The back four is cobbled together, but then it is difficult to remember a time when it wasn’t.

All that remains to be said is that Bale needs to get chalk on his boots and if Dawson or Benny are caught hoofing they agree to being executed live in the centre circle at full time. Method of death tbc but it will involve a threshing machine and some Des O’Connor records. Commentary by Eddie Waring and Stuart Hall.

Eyecatcher bets Anytime goalscorers Niko Kranjcar 7/2, Younes Kaboul 7/1 and 1-1 at half time is a handy 6/1 prices from Boylesports.

No,walker likely to play unless he’s Injured then heyl be kyle crawler
No way would Harry put Dawson in that position
I fear for our safety tommorow the next few weeks are going to be intense heavy shelling of our club helmets needed but we are ready to go to war
    Coys 3rd it is then

Daws at full-back…really? Even if Walker fails to make it Daws at RB is non starter mate..

  • LosLorenzo says:

Dawson tearing up the right wing, pinging in pinpoint crosses. Terrorizing the left back “will he dribble outside me or cut in and shoot with his lethal left foot?”

Hasn’t been tried, but I’m game :freu

10.18 am “Here’s my mob for the Mancs then…”

10.37 am (upon realising we’d be better off with no right back over dawson playing there) “Is Walker not injured then?”

    good times!

Harry, this line up is so negative…it’s as if u have no confidence in our squad. VDV has to start and make an impact. He’s no good coming off the bench.

    Friedel
    Kaboul Nelson King Ekotto
    Lennon Sandro Modric Bale
    Vdv Ade

Defoe and Saha for Vdv and Ade @ 65 mins…

Would like to see Gio Dos Santos appear around 75 mins for Modric. I think his best position is behind our strikers…

    • McG says:

This would be my side, apart from Daws for Nelson. VDV to start in my opinion, Lennon and Bale on the wings, no Krankie for me.

    • Harry Hotspur says:

      Defoe for Saha :ermm:
      Dos Drunkos :ermm:
      Nelson :ermm:

        In response to Harry Hotspur:

        1. Defoe and Saha ON, Ade and VDV OFF – incase u feel too lazy to read my post carefully…

        2. Dos Santos deserves his chance on the big stage. He does pretty well on the big stage for his country. Playing behind the strikers, his pace and guile will confuse many defenders…

        3. If my memory serves me correctly, everytime Dawson plays against United, he ends up as our weak link. Since Gallas is unavailable, Nelsons experience is what we need. Nelson captained the only unbeaten team @ the world cup, by the way…
