Team Sheet For Bolton | The Chicken Badge Heroes

Good afternoon fight fans.

Bolt On in the FACUP make it is then. And before any examination of our own can of worms transpires we need to stare long and hard into the face of the opposition. Well, in actual fact, not too long.  The Wanderers have had an abysmal season.

The Trotters sit fourth from bottom only as the suicide wish has been stronger in a hopeless Wigan, a Wolves side that when in free fall was actually sabotaged by their own board and a QPR mob that are literally a bonfire of vanities.

‘Form goes out the window in the Cup!’

I’m split as how to reply to such a call. Split between answering, ‘That’s rubbish’ or ‘So what?’

The bottom line is that they have played some of the most uninspiring Premiership football this season. So are they up for doing a ‘Birmingham’ or up for staying in the division? Again, who cares, as I do not recognise this mob as a credible obstacle.

Above is my selection.  But this is wholly dependent upon the players being deployed to their strengths. Without being cute, you can take those players, stick Brad up front in a 451 and it doesn’t work.

Predictions?

Arry is many things but ‘unaware of the grief he will have personally aimed at him should we go out of the Cup’ isn’t one of them. It will be interesting to put it mildly to see just how we do. Tomorrow.  We ought to win. We bloody well will win. So 3-0 for me.

Really not wishing to cast aspersions, but this horrible thing reminded s me of some of davspurs posts.
Wishing the boy all the best.

The Hospital have just said he is in a critical condition. It was previously reported he was stable so likely to be a long road for his recovery.
The worry must be he was on the pitch for 8 minutes, then taken off by stretcher to an ambulance but had still not been resucitated.
Lack of oxygen for that amount of time could be a major problem.
Fingers crossed he can pull through.
I am going to the game on Wednesday but at the moment, really cannot be bothered with it.

Hopefully the fact that he was given oxygen quickly will mean that his brain wasn’t starved.

I’m supposed to be going on Weds as well. Doubtful whether it will go ahead.

He is obviously a very fit young man and that should stand him in good stead. I guess he will be heavily sedated for a while and any neurological problems may not become apparent until they reduce his medication.

Still numb, still confused-but at least the reports now are far better (if that’s possible), than during the game. Most didn’t know what was happening as it wasn’t an ‘active’ moment, but as usual the Chinese whispers do the rounds and a resigned and eerie feeling brings you slap down to earth. No lectures, no recriminations, just hope he’ll get well soon and don’t forget Kanu came back to the field of glory after a similar problem many years ago, but first things first eh?-well played Yids,as per usual the faithful and loyal did our club proud and must mention the tear-choking emotion shown by the Bolton contingent

There was a warmth of feeling last night from every fan of Bolton and Tottenham, from the players of both sides, officials, press and commentators. The footballing world waits in hope for Fabrice to show the first signs of recovery, if sincere prayers, best wishes and deepest hope are to count for anything then this 23 year old who has shown such worth both on and off the pitch still has a promising future. In our Thoughts.
