Felix Magath

Good morning.

The Felix Magath story on the front of Kicker magazine linking him with the Spurs job looks at first glance to make for a welcome distraction.

Magath is the Vfl Wolfsburg manager. And the tale is an inspired punt. Alas, the assertion is merely conjecture at this stage. Felix has hit that point in the show where his contract needs renegotiating as it is due to expire in 2013.

Magath has apparently expressed an interest in managing abroad in the past but the article quotes him as saying,

“I want to work here long term, such is agreed with my supervisory boards. I have a contract until 2013 and am still here, fulfilling it.”

The Kicker piece concludes that they think his contract would be extended to 2015.

To be frank, aside from the quote it looks every bit like they’re making it up as they go along.

Shouldve bought in Bill and Ben the Flowerpotmen..they talk Harrys language. If not Andy Pandy and Teddy, Lobby loo can walk round the ground at displaying half time scores while scantily clad..only if this her own choice and she doesnt feel it demeans the female of the species.

Is today what they call a slow news day then…..

Arry keeps his gob shut for a few days and we’ve got nothing to blog about!

If today’s round of bollocks are to be believed then we have already subtly sounded out Rodgers for when the FA come calling.

    Moyes out!
He’s too like for like….safe etc..just like the Cnut in charge at the moment without the verbal bollox….the game is about glory after all, either take a chance with Lambert, Martinez, Poyet or Rodgers or go all out with your Ancelotti types….

I wonder if Jol would apply?

      • Hartley says:

I wouldn’t want him back to be honest, would you?

        • Essexian76 says:

Oh, god, no,no and did I say NO! his best has been Harry’s worst FFS and there’s no point in going backwards, in fact I’d suggest Houghton is probably a better manager given the events over the past couple of season’s

He used to annoy me when playing Azza on the left……..why do these so called professional managers do these things?

        • Essexian76 says:

He annoyed me by playing innocent in his sacking when the truth of the matter was he had an interview with Newcastle without permission, which in turn lead to Kemsey sounding out Ramos and we all know where that’s got us since..but as I said Jol’s best is Harry’s worst, so I’d look for improvement in leadership, playing style and competitiveness and the hope we’ve got the finances to back whoever it is,up to the hilt
