Good morning.
According to an In The Know type johnny on Spurs Community the white goods wizards Beko are in the running for the rights to push their wares on the old Lilywhite next season.
Beko are a top, top brand. I think that they were originally Turkish and it was they who bought out Grundig. If I’m wrong I’m sure someone will dislocate a vital organ in order to tell me.
My great great uncle had a Grundig TV. In the early eighties he asked my dad how much he thought he might get for it second hand, because he wanted to buy a video recorder. That’s my gene pool for you.
Of course, negotiations for the shirt worn in Europe won’t get underway in earnest until Bayern beat the Blue Racists on Saturday.
They’re owned by the unfortunately named Koc Holdings who fortunately do around USD 43B in revenue a year. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!
Fantastic. Kerching :daumen:
That would be absolutely outstanding to have our players running around with the word ‘KOC’ written on their chests!! Come on Levy, make it happen!!
Me like KOC badge…
Beko? I say go for it. That slag has been banging them in for citeh all season.
Slightly off subject but why is it Moderic finds it so hard to commit to the club that pays his wages?? Every Spurs fan used to idolise him and he was that very ‘rare’ player you never expected this from…after everything that happened last year, you’d think he’s want to avoid all that mess.
He needs to take a leaf out of good ole Matt Le Tissier’s book!
PS. Just seen the Martin Fulop goals from Sunday again…im feeling so very bitter…I know its our own fault (Villa game) but if Chelsea beat Bayern on Saturday Im gonna feel so shitty all through summer, how could one player make so many mistakes in one match…bloody hell Ben Foster, why did you have to get injured?!!
Being from Pakistan my first reaction is to ask someone look him up for match fixing! *cough*
id go one step further….the 1st and 3rd arse ‘goals’ look very dubious to say the least from grobbelaar’s i mean fulops point of view!
Beko make fridge freezers that catch fire …. so a bit like us in reverse ……
An oxymoron fridge freezer, who’d have thought?
Beko are Turkish and one of many diverse businesses of the Koc group. Koc are HUGE and account for 30% of total GDP of the burgeoning Turkish economy.
Its not pronounced Kok…more ‘Koach’, luckily
So we get a new sponsor and
European manager in one hit
