All The News That’s Fit To Print

Good morning.

First up, it seems the Laurent Blanc spiel in the popular printed has finally bitten the dust. The Daily Mail leading the charge with the news that Joao Moutinho heads ‘AVB’s hit list’ with The Daily Star valuing the player at £32m if you will. For those still clinging the possibility that Villas Boas won’t be the new man this morning’s prices have the former Portogeezer at 1/12 and the Frenchman at 12/1.

David Bentley’s name has surfaced like a poorly weighted body in the Thames. This time it’s the suggestion that he could be off on loan again, this time to Fulham. It would be wonderful to think that our new boss could get something out of the wannabe Beckham that never was. What’s it to be, get him playing well enough to get first team starts or get a return that isn’t a loss when placing him with somebody else? Hobson’s choice.

Elsewhere Steven Peanut has hit the headlines in South Africa for allegedly attacking Thabang Mnisi, the son of South Africa’s deputy minister of public service and administration in a nightclub kerfuffle. If the Toffee hearted one was wearing a Spurs shirt when he kicked him the injuries are bound to be minor.

And …if any readers on Twitter fancy being involved in a truly one off football related stunt with me that involves the iconic advertising location below, then get in touch asap.

I’ll make you famous  :-D

Links to Sturridge. Interesting. Not sure if I want him. Not sure they would sell him to us anyway, not without somebody in return.

Rumours are that AVB will bring in Harry Redknapp as his assistant. I reckon Harry could help AVB with his squad rotation. AVB will make Hayley McQueen his first summer signing. Her two will be up top. Me thinks a lot of rebounded goals this season. Mr levy is currently speaking with real Madrid. However, it’s not because of luka it’s because he and AVB want Cristiano Ronaldo. In exchange we are offering the balls of Harry redknapp which will be personally signed by the man himself. Madrid want to put them in their trophy cabinet. In the last bit of news, the seats at the new stadium will have a picture of Millie Clode in topless! Danny Boys really pushing the boat so to speak this time! AVB blue and white army!

That is bad business. The balls should not be sold as a pair but be split up to maximize the profit. If RM wants them both they will have to negotiate to separate deals. Then again, once they have bought the first one they can use the argument that we will find it hard to get a buyer for just one ball. But then we can use that same argument against them, why they only have one ball.

Signed you say? Marked with an X then?

I guess Bale signing a new deal and with Man U and Real backing away from the Modric nonsense, the ‘Tottenham for sale’ air balloon has taken a puncture. After all, what else is there to make up write about?

i was thinking if avb does get the job who will be his number 2,he brought in di matteo didn’t he,a known face etc, doubt he will do this again

    • Sky Sports News Reporter says:

      It will be Harry Redknapp

    • essexian76 says:

His number two will definitely be Stuart Pearce, simply because Pearce will need a bolt-hole for a few months until the fuss dies down.
Footballers can walk the streets of N17 in complete anonymity don’t you know?

      • DavSpurs'Dealer says:

Spurs footballers. If he had ever played for Arsenal at any time during the Mr Spock Era, he would be mobbed by the citizens and showerred with kisses. Benny mistakes indifference amd general ignorance about other teams (and pretty much all else) for a kind of acceptance. You and I Essexian, we both know these are the signs of rampant goonerism. N17 = Goonerville.

        • essexian76 says:

That’s called inside knowledge- you’re right of course and we know it’s alive and kickin’ throughout N17
