From Inside The Lane

Good afternoon.

I’ve just had a very interesting chat with a charming woman who appears very much in the loop in relation to our current situation.

First up Arry’s alleged post tin tack comments about an element of the club’s board being an ‘orrible lot appear to be well founded. If of course your definition of ‘orrible is that some simply did not care for every waking thought of the team’s manager to become a soundbite on talkSPORT.

If your definition of ‘orrible was feeling shortchanged that a man paid unrelentingly vast amounts of cold hard cash was so seemingly unfocused on the most basic elements of his job description (Hello set pieces, we mean you!).

Then came the (almost) incomprehensible insensitivity of Arry’s timing. Running to the press making a case for his continued employment in a company whilst the chairman of that company was coping with a death in the family… well… Classy.

The killer bow however was, I am told the involvement of Arry’s ‘representatives’ in the meeting. Basically, he spived himself out the building. What a shocker.

Who’s the new manager? I don’t know, but I’d hold back on the whole, ‘let’s lump on Moyes’ option at this stage.

Unfortunately this sounds closer to the truth of events than some of the more lurid speculation that the HH’ers having been charging around the internet all day with.

Still sooner of later, sense will prevail and everyone will wake up and realise that they’re still Spurs fans. Perhaps even Lewis!

Well, you huffed and puffed and finally blew the house down, now what??

As I keep hearing from all and sundry, be carefulwith what you wish for….

The following weeks will shows us what your wishes have given us.

And those amounst you that keep pleadng for “Daniel” to coerce “Pep” to be our next manager, wake up and smell the coffee ffs!

Why would he refuse the money thrown at him by Chelsea, yet accept Spurs and a tight budget??

A more realistic wish would have been to have won the league with Harry as manager.

he’s not allowed to manage another club in the champions league as part of a deal with barcelona apparently, hello white hart lane, i remember when he was linked with us as a player teaming up with rivaldo, feeding teddy up front with a 2 kneed sprightly ledley at the back, what that never happened? fuck, ah well ignorance is bliss and in ‘arrys case a one way ticket to the job centre

I ldon’t think pep will happen but he did say he wants his next job to be a challenge. Spurs would be perfect we should at least try to get him!!!

I heard a few places that Redknapp’s contract demands had a load of silly clauses, and that he wanted to be made the highest paid manager in the league. He hired Paul Stretford to do his negotiating. Paul Stretford?!?! Yeah, Paul Stretford:

It makes me wonder whether he was actually aiming for the sack and the compo, and all this was just a ruse to ‘make it so’.

It will all take a while, by which time all the decent ripe fruit will have been picked. Maybe some of this next season’s loan signings will be under 30?

  • Milk Boy says:

I hope you are happy HH, let’s see how close to the top 4 we are next May. Until then I won’t bother returning to your god awful anti redknapp blogs….but when I do return you want to hope we are a top 3 club as I will crucify you and your moronic views.

      We will miss you :ermm:

HH – it’s all your fault!

Levy’s been reading your blog! :shocked2:

    • Tony says:

      Prat.

    • Stu Barney says:

      Cheerio

    • Harry Hotspur says:

      Milk Boy,

I genuflect in your general direction.
      You’re pwoper staunch son.
      Gahs tew games and orlsorts.

Still backing a pilchard that got binned. :ermm:

Now listen, I’mm all about people having their say, but try making an actual point, you know?

38% of those that expressed an opinion (see the poll to your right) said he had to go.

If you want to bicker over an ex-employee that the bulk of folk didn’t want, that’s fine by me. But you are the one that over invested emotionally in Arry. I didn’t make you over invest. I know I didn’t.

So if you’re in pain, know this; I didn’t cause it and I can’t make it stop.

Maybe talkSPORT have his number and you can call him up – arrange for him to spin ’round yours in the Range and give you a back rub out of his window?

      • Alspur says:

It will be telling to see where Redknapp ends up, next – my bet is it will be a few rungs down the footballing ladder from the mighty Spurs…
