Krancjar Move Confirmed

Afternoon.

Niko Kranjcar ha sconformed he’s off to play for Dynamo Kiev. He has told sportskenovosti.hr in an interview about his International duties…

Clubs have agreed, the rest are still some small details, as I define my terms. I personally am not involved with that, I am dedicated team, I am left to people that I represent.

It’s a pity as clearly he was a very talented player that simply didn’t fit in with Arry’s plans. You’re either in the gang, or you’re not in the gang and it’s this philosophy that breeds disillusionment in players, rather than desire.

After a few bit parts in unmemorable/unwatchable Europa games Niko clearly lost heart and hopefully he can rediscover his passion for football in the Ukraine.

Kranks typifies the lack of rotation.

    Shame.

True. Had he been used in the league he could have possibly played a really useful role.

You could see the damage ‘Arry’s unwillingness to rotate had done to Krankie in his last couple of games; totally unfit, struggling to keep up with play, looked generally disinterested.

Best of luck to him. I’m sure ‘Arry won’t be too disheartened, surely a tidy profit made?

In the meantime, is there anything in the shape of a plan moving forward?

What about the center back problem.

Do we have anything than resembles a strike force?

We need to here something positive from the club.

Top player, will be missed. Gave us some great memories, not least helping us to reach the champs league. Wish him all the best in the future! Thanks kranks

and where does everyone propose that Niko plays? When on the wing, he drifted in leaving the fullbacks exposed. He could not play ball winner, and he was not a playmaker role. He was decent but could not fit in. Best of luck to him

Sounds very much like Gareth Bale.

This is a good point: personally, I don’t think Niko could ever succeed in a 4-4-2 in the Premiership, due to the pace of our league…

However, if we went with a 4-2-3-1 / 4-5-1 formation, he could more easily slot into one of the MF 3/5 positions…

So, yes: he suffered from a lack of squad rotation, but he also suffered from a bit of tactical rigidness from HR – by now, this squad should be able to adapt beyond a 4-4-2, into a 4-3-3, 4-5-1, or 4-2-3-1 when necessary…

Speaking of drifters, is HR still with us?

Good comment. Only he’s better than decent, he’s good. Thing is our other mids are all very good. And all work harder. We’re struggling to get Sandro in. Kranks got not much chance.

He was phenomenal away at MK Dons.

I think all good motivators will have personalities that they are less effective with.

Generally though, whatever it is, for 90% of the time our manager excelled at everything he did last season.

I think Niko was the kind of player who when asked to run through a brick wall would have first consulted the map – in the Carling-Premier-League-Division-Top-1-ship that is the difference between finishing Top 4 and not.

I wish Niko well, I am sure with his boyish good looks and love of poultry (he wears the badge) he will excel at Chicken Kiev.

Now please HH if you are serious about all of this mud slinging at least open up a blog so those people who don’t think our manager is Lucifer can ridicule everybody else’s suggestions for our next best thing… otherwise it all sounds a bit George Galloway.

After all, when it is a Jan Vertonghen embrace it will have been down to our esteemed Mr. Levy. Who was in charge of our January transfer window ? (it was sh*t, must be HR). Van Der Vaart (all DL;s doing) and so on, and so on…

    Taxi for Spursano or Maicon?

    COYS
