The 5 O’Clocker: Bids In For Two

Bonjourno.

A genuine sense of moving forward is the vibe I’m being told about. Take that last Sunday Express article, work out the diametric opposite and that is where the club is presently at.

Adebayor is not ‘done’, but the man himself is really keen to be part of next season’s campaign with us. The change of coach hasn’t effected his position as he is keen to prove he’s worth a first team shirt under ‘whoever’ , which is superb.

The second snippet is in relation this Oscar chap. The attacking Mid from Brazil. Whilst the exact figure isn’t confirmed, what I am told is that negotiations have reached a point whereby both parties want to ‘work something out.’

Ooh my days.

Butland would be a fantastic signing. The guy’s seriously going to be pushing Hart for the England No. 1 in 2014. Spurs need to whatever possible to sign him now. Send Gomes the other way…

What about Butler from On The Buses? He is tall, always wears a cap to help when the sun is shining but probably a little slow!!

Need at least two proven strikers, three if JD leaves.

From the doom and gloom following Harry’s departure, then onto the shock realisation that AVB is to become our new manager, I’m now enjoying the feeling of optimism and excitement at the new saeson. May be, just may be, the massive disappointment I suffered at missing out on 3rd thanks to very dodgy goalkeeping at west brom on the final day, proves to be a blessing in disguise. For us, a new Spurs direction, and for arse*al a false sense of security now followed by the news that rvp will leave them with possibly one or two others to follow. COYS

imagine where the goon would be if it weren’t for Fulop…. I shouldn’t do it to myself

I know what you mean Friend of Defoe…. the thought of it is just too painful to say the least… thanks Flop (I mean Fulop) and Woy has alot to answer for!!

Let’s face it people, we should have NEVER been in that position in the first place. Senior Redknapp fcuked us right up the Japanese flag and we were left for dead.
Fulop had a bad day, we had a terrible few months. There was only ever one man to blame.

So I urge you gentlemen and ladies, charge your glasses and look to the future with AVB.

has Gomes been written off for good? shame, the guy has arms like a sea creature. one last arm round those 7ft shoulders? no? ok.

Greetings HH, I’m feeding off your optimism re AVB, I am getting very excited about bringing in young, hungry and talented players. Under Harry we stopped that policy and I think we only need to look at the current 1st eleven to see how beneficial this approach has been previously. I’m 100% behind AVB, levy and the boys.
