According to our information, the club’s most active right now would be Tottenham. Discussions were held with representatives of the player and the English club is preparing to send an offer close to 12 million for M’Vila.
Yann is a defensive mid by trade and therefore not a striker.

Exactly! I cannot stand to watch Defoe for these reasons. It’s pathetic that an adult (I know not in height, but at least in age) playing a professional team sport is not interested in helping other players in his own team!!! “I just wanna score goals” Grow up

Watch Defoe play & then you’ll see!!! No way you’ve seen him if you don’t know. For those of us old enough to have been watching Spurs for last 35 years will remember the table top football game called ‘Striker’ – like Subutteo but you’d press the players head to kick the ball, I REST MY CASE!!! Defoe offers the same – just a shot – never has his head up, can’t hold the ball up, no strength, no awareness of who’s around him, doesn’t pass & as for clinical; he does what’s written above, just boots it & 9 out of 10 times straight at the keeper!!!! Sturridge although young & far from finished article shows he understands that being a striker is more than having your head pressed & shooting EVERYTIME he gets the ball. I’ll admit to wanting to keep Defoe because you can always pop him on with 10 mins to go when you need a shot – he’ll definitely give you that!!!!
