Good afternoon.

One thing for absolute certain emerged in our first two Premier League games of the season and it was how abysmally shy of the mark we were in the ‘Luka Modric’ department. Yeah, yeah strikers. Yeah, yeah a goalkeeper. But the real problem was highlighted when Rafa went off against West Brom.

Moussa Sidi Yaya Dembélé is a perfect fit for Andrè Villas-Boas. He has all the dynamism and all the league experience. He’s an attacking midfielder and with Pathe News Boy hospitalised and the Croatianist gone it’s all good.

he was laughing & joking with the spurs staff and both him & his agent looked very pleased – always a good sign

great signing, best dribbler with the ball in the league imo, very spurs type player

I think Bale may have something to say about that. No one else can run at full pace with the ball and his full pace is blistering…

Agree, apart from that tho. Dembele looks very special with the ball. Very athletic too.

yeah but Bale is more successfull at that on the touchline can’t seem to replicate it in the middle of the pitch, Dembele makes it look easy

Agree it’s a great signing, played a blinder against Man U, bags of talent and power, and at £15m we’ve plenty still left in the warchest.

      An exciting addition.

    solid signing.

ye reckon the guff on news now about AVB letting PNB, VDV and ‘Azza Blud go for the right price has any basis or is it just the usual lazy journalisim associated with this time of the year?

Rock solid and creative in one package. Though I would prefer all these highlight clips on youtube to show midfielders making that killer last pass rather than tackles and square passes and a bit of a dribble and step over here and there. Thats not what we need.

Its that last killer pass that we miss from midfield at the moment.

We get plenty of good crosses for strikers to tap in from the likes of Bale and Lennon but in the last few games I haven’t seen much in the way of final ball. Lets hope this guy finds that killer pass a few times each game at the very least.

  • Good player, big driving force from midfield, something Sandro and Jake can’t provide.

My trout is thrashing wildly there is another coming..
