[Video] Covert Modric Tape Released

Good morning.

So Shakattack Don’t Ask have turned down an initial bid for Willian. What a shock. With four days to go prices aren’t going to be reduced, are they?

On a positive note I’m hearing that the slow burn negotiations for Birmingham City’s Jack Butland have advanced.

Anyway, Modric is done and we’ve gone into partnershhip with Real Madrid. Does that make Spurs the John Lewis of football? I could live with that. Anyone know the Latin for ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ ?

What does this actually mean? Who knows, but it’s all rather exciting. A Ronaldo loan would be a result. Buckle up baby, this window just got interesting…

“The partnership agreement will see the two Clubs working together in respect of players, coaching, best practices and commercial relationships.”

This was sent in by a HH GilSpur this morning. Possibly one of the most bizarre and pointless pieces of Spurs footage ever committed to film. I nearly dislocated something ensuring that you lot got to see it as fast as I possibly could.

Like the partnership with Internacional has been so productive. I can’t wait….really

  • Mitchell Thomas says:

As long as we aren’t the Arsenal to their Man City….

  • TMWNN says:

We’ll get to make first offers for their players, then some other team will actually sign them.

    It’s that kind of ‘partnership’.

  • Mitchell Thomas says:

Hey that state of the art training ground don’t ‘alf look like our old one. Just needs dopey chops hanging out the window of his jeep now….

  • Andy says:

they will get first bite at Bale as well

    • LLL says:

First bite to Levy will mean about as much as we do to the Internacional chairman regarding Oscar, Damiao etc. Money talks, bullshit (and special partnerships) walks.

      • Paul says:

Its all very well saying that our Internacional agreement means nothing but if we are given first dibs on their players we still need to match another teams transfer fee that is offered.

It was obvious that Spurs did not want to pay £25m for such a young player and I don’t blame them so he then went to Chelsea. Sandro was a great deal remember and they have another great asset that they don’t want to lose but know they can get a lot of money for so why would they let Damiao come to us for less than £30m?

Inter is a business also like us and they need to get the price they want.

You’ve put far too much thought into that Paul ;-)

        • LLL says:

:daumen: That’s sort of exactly what I said, but less sarcastic.

@LLL,I know you did and mostly your posts are realistic and thoughtful-by the way what time does World Class Players R US close?
I understand DL now has a 10% off loyalty card and has cashed in his Post Office savings book, so it could make for an interesting few days

When look at the Oscar transfer it’s said quite clearly that we’d had a good offer, accepted on principle (1st dibs), but Chelsea came in with a counter offer which ‘blew ours out of the water’
We cannot pay what we don’t have, same as Leandro-they want in excess of 30m, and we simply don’t have that sort of wedge.

        • LLL says:

I’m not sure when it closes but I hope Levy gets there in time, we don’t want him doing his shopping last minute in Mr. Buywrong again…

        • essexian76 says:

He’ll be like that couple on the insurance ad, sleeping bag, flask, sandwiches…in fact I’ll go down there and pinch his clothes myself, they’d fit me perfectly…and his bonce shiner wouldn’t go amiss either.
