Jan Vertonghen Mashed Up

Good morning.

The latest Hotspur’s Half Hour is out and packed to the gills with thrills, spills and bellyaches.

On this week’s show we’ve what can only be described as an historic mash up featuring Jan Vertonghen and The Eagles courtesy of our one man house band and musical arranger Mr Loveridge of Membrane Audio. Worth the price of admission alone. What a choon.

But the cherry on this sumptuous slice of aural gluttony [ODM’s obsession with baking is becoming a concern] has to be our very special guest star Knut from Football Away. Knut has a stellar anecdote about a football bet he lost and his subsequent journey from London to go and watch the mighty Spurs play Newcastle on the opening day of the season.

And if you like your Anglo Saxon with big beats thrown in, then there’s a tasty treat after the closing credits. My broadband had cut out but my mic had not.

This is the one that was due to go out last Friday but some crazy Jewishness and my birthday disrupted matters.

Better late than, oh hang on…

    Interesting Twitter Conspiracy Theory:

Does Ferguson have sway with the FA??

Mark Clattenburg was the referee when Manchester City beat Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford on 23/10/11, he has never refereed there since that day…….

Mike Dean was the referee when Blackburn Rovers beat Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford on 31/12/2011, he has never refereed there since that day……

Chris Foy was the referee when Spurs beat Manchester United 3-2 last weekend, and has been demoted to refereeing the League Two (Yes that’s the Fourth Division) game between Accrington Stanley & Rochdale this weekend…..

I wonder if Foy will ever referee at Old Trafford again?

If Man U have a bad season will we run out of referees?

Man City and Chelsea may well have bought up half the best players in the world but Fergie has bought up most of the clocks. We will never run out of Ferfie time in the future. What time is it? Its 5.15pm FMT and there is another 37 minutes to go.
I think he has a fake Rolex.Thats a knock off of a knock off of a knock off and as the time goes along he just puts the hands more forward all the time.
If this is Tuesday it must be Fergie time.

He can have my battered Timex or my Digital LED watch from 1977: a useless piece of junk if there ever was one. Quite useful at Fenchurch Street though, when you had a day out and had time on your hands.
