Leandro Damião Has Had A Dream

And so dear reader the pitfalls of consuming cheese prior to turning in.

Longtime Tottingham target Leandro Dime Bar told Sao Paulo radio station UOL: “Every footballer dreams of playing at a club such as Real Madrid, but I am only 23 and there is plenty of time to take that step forward.

“Now is not the moment to be thinking of playing in Europe, I just want to continue improving and scoring goals.

“I have a contract with Porto Alegre, I love it here and do not feel the need to move away right now, although it is obvious that the day will come when I will leave Brazil to go and play in Europe.”

No sour grapes I promise you but I always felt this transfer speculation was botched together by the player’s agent and a media desperate for the next headline. At least we’ll know not to waste our precious time reading further guff on this guy in January I suppose.

Didn’t want him in the close season, don’t want him now – Brazilian players live on the history of their national team. Most (with the exception of Sandro of course), can’t be bothered learning English and only want to play for either Barca or Real as if they have a divine right, ‘because they are Brazilian’. We can do much better than Damiao, who will command mega wages, a mega fee and doesn’t even want to be here unless given a ‘Modric’ clause. Feck him. We shouldn’t consider ourselves a ‘stepping stone club’ anymore. We’ve done it in the past and continuously have to rebuild when the player gets itchy pants and wants to leave after making a few decent passes.

Moutinho is another player I’d like the club to forget. He will command mega wages and no one knew who the hell he was until the Euro’s and Sky’s endless transfer speculation. There are plenty of players already in the premiership that can do a job. Demba Ba, Cisse, Shawcross for DF.. they have the mettle, they have no homesickness issues, they won’t command silly wages. We don’t need latino primadonnas who need a bedding in period and a pair of golden underpants to make them feel special.

I can’t stand this little ponce (Damiao) and the Brazilian league is crap anyway. He will come here and need molly-coddling for six months, because he is homesick and no one speaksa da lingo. Boo Hoo.. givame da money, amma Brazilian!

We should cut ties with Internacional as well. They are using this club to get better deals from Spanish giants.

I actually had a dream two nights ago that we signed Fellaini.
