Fulham Indoors

Wotcha.

News breaking this morning that the PSB to West Ham ‘loan package’ is a late entry into the British Comedy Awards.  The signing on fee is £2M and if they stay up it’s another £1M. For starters I can’t see who in their right mind would want a striker who can’t score this side of Hadrian’s but the staying up bit is priceless.

Other transfer gossip is thin on the ground beyond the usual threats and allegations, although their was a mention in the Italian press that Dos Santos was linked with Brimingham.  Ho hum.

Fulahm will be a game approached with a certain amount of relish. Our lot’s home form is nothing shy of excellent and Mark Hughes’ lot have become the Premiership’s draw specialists.

Modders is due a goal and this will suit him. First to score for Tottingham is 6/1. Bale as first goal scorer is 7/1.

Bale to be rested (on the bench) for the Everton match. 2-0 to Spurs again. VDV & Pav.

Hopefully Tim Cahill should be missing for Everton midweek match as he’s off to the Asia Cup. They could also be missing Pienaar if rumours of him joining us are true.

BENZEMA is a load of rubbish. Higuain is out injured so they are not going to let Benzena go as he is playing at moment same as Diarra

Just heard some agent on SSN saying we’re close to getting a player on loan from Spain, any ideas Harry?? (Benzema would be ideal!!)

Saw the same interview on Sky Sports News with Barry Silkman this pm and he was absolutely certain Spurs are at a very advanced stage in bringing in a player from Spain, probably on loan initially. He would not give any further detail as he said that Spurs would obviously be very unhappy if it were to jeapordise the deal. The possibilites are numerous but a few that spring to mind are Lassana Diarra, Fabiano, Aguerro, Benzema(if RM get Llorente in) Drenthe hopefully not Reyes, or Didier Zokora (lol). We shall see.

Barry Silkman also confirmed he expects WHAM to bring in at least 2 and possibly 4 players. Would not be surprised to see O`Hara be one of those, on loan till end of season then option to buy if they stay up (so just on loan then)! He confirmed that Scott Parker would not be leaving WHAM.
On another topic, Tim Cahill will miss the game against us next week as he will be with Australia in the Asia Cup. Thought it might be because he got called up to replace Ricky Ponting in the Sydney Test Match!

Kranjcar is absent from the squad listed on the Daily Mail website. Not listed as injured either. Could something be happening behind the scenes?

    • Anthony In That Number says:

Yep absolutely. Cannot help thinking that he might end up on Merseyside. Might be included in any deal for Pienaar, or if Everton are as short of cash as it seems then perhaps Liverpool. He would certainly improve both of those teams. I rate him and sad to see him go if he does but he is unlikely to feature for us given the strength in depth we have in attacking midfielders. The other problem with him is lack of pace and Pienaar is quicker, more flexible and harder working and we make a profit of probably £3to£4million. We shall see.

“I think the Benzema tale will be concluded somewhere between the opening of the window and its close” – I love that, Harry- when else would it be concluded? You are missing a vocation as a lawyer, mate!
