Team For Cheatski

Good morning.

That charming bunch from Fulham are on their way over from Second Hand Fridge then and I can’t believe were in Gameweek 17 and I’ve yet to wheel out that hackneyed old phrase, ‘This game is pivotal’.

A reflection upon just how well things have been going, I guess.

The sinister spectre of injuries looms though and we are still waiting to see if the boy Bale will be fit. The Mirror says he will be, the Daily Mail says he won’t.

Azza Blud’s injury has been revealed as small tear that might be right in a matter of just two or three weeks. But the reality as we all know is that it’ll take that plus numerous ‘getting back to full match fitness’ appearances. So see you sometime in February old man.

Let’s hope that Arry includes Sandro whatever happens. His second half against Sunderland was superb. As I said in the ratings for that one, the trio of him, Pathe News Boy and Modric really is the business.

If Bale is banjaxed, I’d roll with Brad, A&E, Kaboul, King, Walker, Sandro, Modric, PNB, Kranjcar vdV and Adebayor.

Eye-catchers on the betting front for me have to be Modric as anytime goalscorer at 5/2 …and for those with an iron constitution Chelsea HT, Spurs FT is a whopping 22/1 both courtesy of Boylesports.

Oh and news in from a usually reliable source that David Beckham will be at The Lane tomorrow. Presumably as a spectator.

Talksport announced earlier that Golden Balls is going to PSG. But then apparently the Beckhams are moving back to Hertfordshire.

I reckon Bale will play tomoz. I’d put at least 50p on it. I wouldn’t of thought Krankie would play against Chelsea anyway. Too light weight.

We cant play Modric and Krancjar out wide it wouldnt work…

I seriously think we should put Kaboul at right back and Walker right midfield if Bale is out.
    Gallas and King as CB’s

The only other option is Gio or Townsend out wide both have speed. Townsend probably deserves it more out of the 2.

If Bale plays we win comfortably, if he doesnt then anything could happen

the CPS have announced that this afternoon they will make an announcement re terry. interesting to see if he is selected if the announcement is that he will be charged. and if so how he deals with it. i had been so looking forward to the prospect of a high line against bale and lennon, now it seems a high line is a relatively safe option for them.
