Good morning gentlemen of the press.

Our Arry’s held a presser this morning and courtesy of @BenPearceSpurs here are all the quotes fit to print.

On Pathe News Boy:

Scott Parker is ‘struggling’ to be fit to face Everton tomorrow. ‘It would be a surprise if he’s fit. In fact it’s very very doubtful’

On Sir Ledley King’s Hamstring:

‘He’s had a scan. It’s not too bad but he’s not going to be fit for tomorrow’.

 On tapping up Transfers:

Redknapp was asked about Loic Remy, Demba Ba, Chris Samba and Junior Hoilett – and said there’s interest in all of them. “‘We’re not close to anything, we’re not desperate for anybody. There are good players here who aren’t getting a game”.

The big question is, has Mavis the tea lady managed to get the fondant fancies for half time?

either that or Livermore will have to pop to the shops.

Harry, I noticed on the Spurs website that it says Gallas & Sandro out with calf strains?? I thought they were tears…if this a misprint or have I missed something?

    • Cptcaveman says:

Surely thats not the 3 month layoff as expected then??

      • Harry Hotspur says:

Arry is a brilliant well of info. Sadly nothing this morning on Sandro or Billy :-(

        • Cptcaveman says:

‘ARRY’LL FIX IT’ surely thats a concept for an award winning TV show.

          …what do you think?

Maybe all kinds of ‘triffic’ players could write in an ask for stuff…’triffic players whom we’re NOT looking at’ could write in seeking games’…

There’s no hidden meaning there but suddenly BAM, the idea suddenly makes me realise how great it really is…

        • Billy Legit says:

          Don’t panic ladies, i’m fine!

Bit of a twinge in my lower-back but apart from that, fit as a fiddle!

Really worried about the Dawson-Kaboul pairing for tomorrow. Both enthusiastic and willing players, but not a brain cell between either of them in terms of positioning and anticipation, perhaps it may be a case of just outscoring Everton?

    • Harry Hotspur says:

Well put. Kaboul & Dawson pairing has been ‘shaky’ to put it mildly :-|

      • essexian76 says:

And losing Parker is a real blow considering Sandro’s out for a while-ho hum-Roller coaster of emotion will follow between now and Sunday I feel, as Fletcher and Doyle can also hurt us. They’ll need us to be the twelfth man in both games I think as these injuries couldn’t have come at worse time and in such key areas’s as well.

    • Frontwheel 2 says:

Have Faith,Kaboul has progressed nicely,Daw’s is well under rated and lets be honest,King and Gallas can’t hold their hands forever.

      • essexian76 says:

Yeah, I sort of have faith, but it’s the pairing that began the season that worries me. Daws tends to dive in when a little more composure and thought’s required and Kaboul’s occasional rush of blood seems to come out of nowhere. There’s no real leader with Parker absent, so maybe Brad’s gotta be a hollerin’ and a yellin’ throughout both games to keep ’em focused. In any event I can’t see a dull game happening!

        • jim says:

Brad will be the difference to the pair of them.Kaboul has grown with the season.I would be worried if it was MU but Everton have been crap lately, up front and at the back come to think of it. I don’t like oozing confidence generally but I feel quite safe on this one. The only place i see a problem is if no Parker or Sandro, does that mean Livermore?

        • essexian76 says:

If we think we know Harry, then yes, but as someone else suggested Pienaar could do a tigers job as a one off and we could then worry Everton with sheer pace. If they ain’t got it-they can’t do nuffin’, posession, possession-possession!

        • jim says:

Sorry mate hadn’t read that far down. Peanut should get it for me. And your right keep the ball, dont give them hope.

        • jim says:

I constantly forget how deep our squad goes.

        • essexian76 says:

We seem to suffer injuries in the same key area’s it’s either all our centre backs or def mids, never the odd player here and there, which is annoying as it’s been happening for the third season in a row.

    • SpurredoninDublin says:

Disturbing to look at the list, and in particular, that Ledley will not be available until after we have played the big guns.

  • cuba montana says:

So I take it Parker will be fit to play against Everton then….
