Tottenham enjoy a rich history of winning trophies. The feeling of having seen off so many rivals is exhilarating to put it mildly. The journey to lifting the a cup is never straightfroward.
The focus these days for many is more about the Champions League. That tournament’s cache, not to mention cash rewards has turned the modern game on its head. The UEFA Cup, re-branded the Europa Cup is sadly tainted.
But for those of us who followed Spurs before ‘last week’, the magic of trophies foreign and domestic is difficult to forget.
