Good evening.
The issue of the moment really does appear to be that of booing. Oh yes, you can always rely upon me to have my finger on the pulse. Don’t you worry about that. I’m blessed with the vision of a hawk, the flighty mental agility of Sapphire & Steel.
To boo or not to boo?
The case from the defence counsel: Negativity in the workplace ain’t no good. It spreads like a poison and with an equally ‘orrible effect. If a reader can point to just a single example whereby anyone ever raised their game in any environment by being booed then us know. To paraphrase the old Monty Python line, ‘Boo some sense into ‘im!’
Booing your own is counter productive. Home fans booing is sabotage, they should sit in the away end.
The case from the prosecuting counsel: Depriving people of free speech isn’t on. These days fans are called ‘customer reference numbers and so why shouldn’t they be simply allowed to voice their dissatisfaction as customers? If a business doesn’t listen to it’s customers then surely it’s screwed.
I boo to let all concerned know that I’m not happy.

Hotspurs Half Hour – Show 3 by hotspurshalfhour
Seriously though, how do you deal with it?
If your own team’s fans boo, how do you voice your displeasure? By booing those fans?
Don’t agree with booing at half time, sometimes If you lose the game emotion takes over but its counter productive and the noise of the boos would have been better placed singing songs of support, it seemed quiet yesterday
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO
the gooners.
The fittest striker started and we played our fittest midfield that was available.
Like to see a midfield of Bale, Dempsey,Sandro, Dembele and Lennon with Adebayor starting. Then there’s siggurdsen and hopefully a soon to be fit again Parker. FFS we have a new manager, new players and a new system.
And the cow jumped over the moon
did you take a photo?
defoe might as well sat on avb’s lap for all his usefulness as a lone striker
watching a midfield of sandro & livermore had me close to self harming, what was that all about?
I get what you’re saying, but he is the best we have got till Ade is fully fit unless I’ve missed someone.
one thing that’s puzzling me is what system we’re mean’t to be playing, the set up looks 442 with the usual winger switching flanks nonsense but despite all the players playing that system it seems foreign to them, they’re playing like strangers again.
if we get dempsey and ade firing up front we’ll do some damage
It started as a 4-2-3-1, but in the second half we went 4-4-1-1 and then 4-4-2, then 4-5-1…
I thought we showed good flexibility between systems but poor execution of each one!!!
:daumen: :daumen:
Booing at half time is ludicrous whatever the situation. Booing at full time can be acceptable after a sustained run of underperformance. Booing during the 3rd game of a new managers reign after 2 games where performances have been relatively good despite the result is so far beyond disgraceful I would struggle to put into words the disgust I feel for those particular morons.
Arsenal fan but read on! Give AVB some time.. booing your own team is ALWAYS wrong ..and we have our own morons as well!! You guys will come in 5-6 which is about where you should be given the size of your stadium and resources. In fact I think a good case could be made that you have punched above your weight in this world of Oilshieks and Russians!!
You’ve got nothing but morons, moron. Now politely fuck off.
Unnecessary much?
Disco – gooners have their own sites. I don’t appreciate them turning up on Spurs forums the one weekend they win to throw in the old thinly veiled insults about our stadium, resources and where we will finish this year.
Very MUCH necessary.
Ignore our morons. they cannot help it.
If you genuinely support your team, ie singing and cheering them on, but feel the players or coach have let you down, then fine, boo.
However, the idiots who were booing in the first 2 games were people who did nothing but boo. It’s almost like compllaining about your government but not bothering to vote.
Fans have a role to play and that is to support your team. WHL is the new library I’m afraid, even the goons seem to be better supported these days. Let’s try to improve the atmosphere at WHL with much more singing etc. if all fans are pulling in the same direction, there wouldn’t be any problem at all.
Calling all genuine Spurs fans, lets play our part – COYS!!!!
Here here, I seem to remember we lost to Norwich at home last season, was yesterday’s result an improvement? :ninja:
no we didnt, the match commentator said that in arrys reign, we swept ALL TEAMS BEFORE US WITH ATTACKING FREE FLOWING FOOTBALL………………., so i must have been watching a different Tottenham last season then :sideways:
What a load of cobblers. Fans have a role to play okay, but their role is to pay to get into the game. After that their emotions will decide how or what comes out of their mouths. As long as they are not being abusive, then it’s their money. Levy thinks the club is his and he therefore hires and fires who he likes. He cannot expect the stoogies to sing from his hynm sheet too.
Boll**** is it our role to pay their wages. Yes you have a right to voice your opinions adn yes we pay their wages but it’s not our role!
If you pay your money to go to WHL and moan from the start, like so many people around where I sit, what’s the point???? If you don’t enjoy it, DONT GO!
We’re supporters; should that not be defined as people who ‘support’ their team?
Tell that to the 12th man at Anfield, the Britannia, St James Park, etc, etc…
…making those grounds some of the hardest to play at, in the league, might I add…
