Good evening Record Breakers.
Whilst the second half degenerated into a hoof ball festival with the headline act being Brad F & Sunshine Coach Band we beat Manchester United in their own back yard. At half time their fans were booing. Did you hear them? And at full time their club lost the game.
Are the two mutually exclusive? Hats off yet again to our away support. Always outnumbered, rarely outgunned. A genuine credit to the firm.
There were those who who went missing in the second half and questions need to be asked about our collapse offensively. Rooney was a primary factor. But wow, what a great performance from the boys, eh? Jan, Bale, Moussa, Sandro, Azza, so many positives. So many…
Where were you watching? Who were you with? How’s your heart?! I ? AVB.
:-p :-p :-p :-p :-p :-p :-p
2nd!!!
Sherwood must have been behind the shite in the Sun
1st. and lovin it
well played sir
Tactics – spot on. Substitution – spot on. Motivation – spot on. We would not have won this game last season. Absolute Vindication Boas you beauty. COYS
Superb but should of carried on attacking instead of sitting on our lead.
….we tried that last yr against the scum…remember??? look how that turned out.. also a couple of times being 2-0 up and 3-0 up at half time against the red mancs.. and conceding 5 in the second half…. AVB done good!! the Lads did incredible.. apart from the gits-in-red throwing themselves to the ground anywhere close to the penalty box (a litle trick they picked up from Ronaldo) the only thing that wasn’t thrown at the Lads saturday was the personally engraved SAF sink, from his private kitchen within the depths of Old Trafford….. although i do suspect Fergie threw it around in the home dressing room after the game.. 23 yrs and about bloody time!!!
COYS!!
Spot on????? I’m ecstatic that we won but spot on???
That second half was bollocks, we could have lost by four or five goals! We didn’t and I am loving it but anyone who was impressed by anything other than our players resolve need their head tested!!
Ok I was pissed when I wrote that!!
Got to say how proud I am of the boys, luck did play its part as well but they never gave in and kept fighting until the end.
Vertonghen is a born winner, what a signing he is.
With the usual non neutral brown nosed refereeung we would have lost 4-2> can’tt he Glazers afford the payments any more?
What ? me cynical?
must say that walker is a worry. only a spurs fan could look on the downside,,,,,,, sorry guys
Lol yes I have to agree, his positional play at times is a bit erratic but he is young and that will improve, at the end of the day no goal came from his side (although RVP and Evra could have scored from his mistakes)
How about Caulker though, he is Ledleys clone doesnt need to make a challenge just has perfect positional play and cuts the supply to the strikers…….his even better in the air that Ledley.
Damn what to do when Kaboul and Ekotto come back??????
Ekotto needs to come straight back in. We let in two goals today because Vertonghen wasn’t in the middle!
Also, as good as he was going forward in the first half, the ball out to Verts wing in the 2nd was always on and they did it time and time again. Frustratingly, he is an excellent attacking fullback but a better centre back…
kaboul comes back in at right back away from home.
verts must play centre
ekotto does switch off..
good job we have a world class manager eh
