Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram this summer transfer window.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claims the Reds have expressed interest in landing the 25-year-old French international from the Serie A giants.

Juventus are under pressure to balance their financial books by June 30, requiring a capital gain of around £10-11 million from player sales.

Thuram is considered one of their most valuable assets and could be allowed to leave for a fee in the region of £35 million to £39 million.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli and Turkish giants Galatasaray have both registered interest, but Thuram is not keen on either destination.

The France international has his sights firmly set on a Premier League move, with Liverpool identified as one of his potential suitors.

Manchester United and Nottingham Forest have also been highlighted as competitors in the race to secure his signature this summer.

Liverpool endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign, finishing fifth in the Premier League standings, and new manager Andoni Iraola is expected to reshape the squad.

The Anfield club currently relies on Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch as their regular midfield pairing, with Dominic Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones providing backup.

Curtis Jones has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in Serie A, which could open the door for a new midfield signing at Liverpool.

Thuram is capable of operating in both the number six and number eight roles, giving Iraola flexibility in how he could deploy the Frenchman.

The midfielder completed 87% of his passes in Serie A last season and averaged four recoveries and two tackles per game for the Bianconeri.

He also contributed nine goal involvements from 45 appearances for Juventus, demonstrating his attacking threat from central midfield positions.

At just 25 years old and available for a reported £35 million, many observers believe Thuram would represent excellent value for a club of Liverpool’s ambition.

Manchester United remain in the picture but appear focused elsewhere, having secured a deal for Atalanta’s Ederson while prioritising a move for West Ham United’s Mateus Fernandes.
