Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to launch a formal proposal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, according to Football Insider.
The 22-year-old Brazilian struggled for consistent game time at the Etihad Stadium last season, managing just six goal contributions across 14 starts in all competitions.
His lack of regular minutes ultimately cost him a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad, a significant blow for a player of his undoubted potential.
Tottenham first registered a firm interest in signing Savinho last summer, but Pep Guardiola refused to sanction his departure at that time.
The situation has shifted considerably since then, with Savinho now reportedly ready to leave and Manchester City prepared to cash in on the winger this summer.
