Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly showing serious interest in signing Barcelona forward Ferran Torres this summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old Spanish international enjoyed an impressive 2025-26 campaign under manager Hansi Flick at Camp Nou.

Torres made 31 starts across all competitions last term, contributing an outstanding 21 goals and three assists for the Catalan club.

He also played a key role as Barcelona secured both the La Liga title and the Supercopa de España during that remarkable domestic season.

Torres has since carried his strong club form onto the international stage, helping Spain reach the World Cup semi-finals against Kylian Mbappé’s France.

According to Caught Offside, Barcelona are now considering selling Torres this summer for a fee of around €35m, equivalent to approximately £30m.

The Catalan giants have yet to officially inform Torres of their intention to sell, though internal discussions have already taken place regarding his future.

His current contract is due to expire at the end of next season, which has prompted Barcelona to consider cashing in rather than losing him for free.

Tottenham are described as firm admirers of Torres and have previously explored the possibility of signing him before this latest interest emerged.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side will face significant competition, however, with Aston Villa, Juventus, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid all reportedly keen on the forward.

Atletico Madrid are said to be showing the strongest level of interest among all clubs currently tracking the Barcelona star’s situation.

Torres is considered a versatile attacking option, comfortable operating anywhere across the frontline while also contributing defensively without the ball.

Having previously played in the Premier League with Manchester City, Torres already possesses first-hand experience of English football’s physical demands.

Tottenham have already invested heavily this summer, spending around £230m on reinforcing their defensive and midfield departments ahead of the new season.

The North London club are now reportedly turning their attention to upgrading their attacking options, making Torres an attractive and timely potential target.
