Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Manchester City winger Savinho as Roberto De Zerbi looks to put his stamp on the squad this summer.
The Brazilian had a difficult 2025/26 campaign, scoring and assisting just two Premier League goals as he faded from view under Pep Guardiola, starting only seven league games.
Despite that underwhelming season, Spurs remain keen on securing a deal, with a potential £60m transfer seemingly inching closer as the deadline approaches.
City are reportedly waiting to sign Chelsea’s Pedro Neto before sanctioning any departure, but all indications suggest Savinho will make the move to north London before the window closes.
Savinho’s underlying numbers do offer some encouragement, ranking in the top 5% for shot-ending carries and the top 4% for deep carries per 90 among wingers across Europe’s big five leagues.
He also ranked in the top 1% for progressive carries and received through balls, suggesting his ability to drive forward and link play remains genuinely elite, even if the end product dried up.
However, Tottenham’s ambitions this summer may stretch well beyond Savinho, with Real Madrid striker Endrick also emerging as a serious transfer target for the club.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs are among several clubs in ongoing talks over a potential move for the 20-year-old, with the player’s camp reportedly seeking a way out of the Bernabeu.
Liverpool and Chelsea are also said to be in the frame, with discussions described as ongoing across all interested parties as competition for his signature intensifies.
A loan-to-buy arrangement has been mooted as a possible structure for any deal, with compatriot Gabriel Jesus having already labelled the youngster a “phenomenon” in glowing terms.
Endrick spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, joining in January, and the short stint in France gave a compelling glimpse of just how devastating he can be.
In just 14 Ligue 1 starts, he scored five goals and registered seven assists, having also created nine big chances while averaging 1.9 key passes and 2.3 successful dribbles per game.
That output comfortably eclipsed Savinho’s return from the whole of 2025/26, during which the City man failed to create a single big chance and averaged just 0.4 key passes per game.
Endrick ranked 11th in Ligue 1 for total successful dribbles despite only arriving midway through the campaign, a remarkable achievement given the limited time he had to settle.
Although a centre-forward by trade, Endrick operated primarily on the right flank at Lyon, drawing comparisons to a more clinical and creative version of what Savinho offers.
The Brazilian has endured a frustrating time in Spain since his high-profile move to Real Madrid, but those six months in France demonstrated he is more than capable of thriving in top-flight European football.
He is already spoken of as a modern-day Brazilian saviour, with ongoing comparisons to the late, great Pele reflecting the extraordinary expectations placed on such a young player.
It has been a bold summer for Spurs already, with the club having beaten Manchester United to sign Mateus Fernandes before also landing Sandro Tonali despite interest from Manchester City.
De Zerbi’s side have shown no fear in competing with the Premier League’s biggest clubs in the transfer market, and a move for Endrick would represent perhaps their most ambitious statement yet.
If Tottenham are genuinely targeting a transformative, ‘bomba’ signing to elevate their attacking options, Endrick offers something that Savinho, for all his qualities, currently cannot match.
